our grandsons’ brissim have been milchig.

It’s called a “Halakhic Dinner” because halachos are taught about what is eaten. “
I saw photos of the foods served. although not your usual fare, it all looked like regular restaurant food (except for the locusts).. of course, described in effusive language as upscale restaurants do.
the dinner was geared for a bunch of Yidden to try kosher, uncommon foods. and learn the sources for them. period.

hi! we chose to have the male because there was a mouse in our house; we got him as a kitten.
as he got older, he went outside & he brought the female home w/ him; they would hang out on our porch together.
we thought she was pregnant & kept her. she didn’t give birth until maybe a year later (?)= we were wrong, she wasn’t pregnant *then*, but we kept her.
we haven’t had cats in years now because the kittens were climbing on the dining room table & onto my husband’s seforim.

my daughter was due April 6th & was happy to have given birth a week early so as not to havta leave during the seder, lol. B’H!
now I have 2 beautiful granddaughters, ka’h, born 6 wks. apart!! it’s gonna be quite a seder this year w/ 2 newborns in addition to my two 7 y.o., one 6 y.o., & one 4 y.o. grandchildren!! nachas is right!! B’H!! 🙂
