i have the opposite issue- i am tired by day and can sleep for 12 hours a night but i dont get that and then i am tired! and GROUCHY!
i got a massage for $10 and a pedi for more but in BP i go to a great place where a pedi is just 12 but you meet the whole world there! MONSEY is much more expensive

eden just advertised their margarine and had a great recipe there for chewy cc cookies. there was also a recipe a few years ago in the mishpacha i think for some eggplant rollups…. they are amazing anyone know what i am talkign about?

i have to work- not sure what im going to do to rem that its yom tov but i am very happy with the way it worked out this year- thursday, then half a day on fri and no more work! imagine if it was mon-thursday! that would reek!
i think its nuts but like wolf said you cant make a big deal about everything! But yes ppl do take it out of proportion. The last few years we bought bread/rolls in a local bakery right near my house. we went as soon as everything was all cleaned up (around 1 am) and came home about half and hour later with fresh hot bread! that is the way to do it!
we are talking about pathmark in monsey and i hear that all fresh will be opening up with them- like doing the meat department or something but not sure. can try to ask them next time i go but no one ever knows the truth about these things….
eclipse- the only thing that scares me from reading your posts is that you seem like such a normal, sensible, “head-screwed on the shoulder” type of lady but you fell in so how can I know if I wont fall into that too? any advice that you can offer in hindsight?
I will miss the CR terribly especially because I will be working on Erev pesach and on Chol Hamoes (part time) and I dont want to be the only one posting but I will be bored and checking out this place often! Will the mods be around!?!??!!??!

yoyo- you have a real issue- not that ppl are following you but because its in your head! Sac- well said i was going to say the same! can you be more specific with what type of “following you” is meant in your post? I am very confused@!
eclipse- I am happy that you found a name that you are comfortable with and they are happy with. I am sure they dont mean to cause you pain its just that they aren’t aware. so happy for you and may you have the most unbelievable pesach break ever!
i dont have an older brother to do the shopping for me and also I like to go into the store- nothing to do with him and i just think that the longer I dont let myself go in there the more its going to become a big deal- you have to move on in life but with caution.
Rabbi wallerstein is the most unbelievable person around! His shiurim keep me going! I listen to them all the time on Kol halashon! I definitely had the shock of my life when I saw a picture of him!

Pita land in Monsey- thick crust, very moist pizza, nice ppl working there and very friendly place in general! where are all the monseyers sticking up for their place?!?!?!?
there are so many bored posters here you can go eat with them!
why dont some of the bored ppl in this place come help you?!?!?!??!!? this is like a chesed gemach- someone says what they have and can offer to help others with and someone else uses that! LOL
my aunt told me that she might have some ppl for pesach if they cannot get a passport for their baby to canada. poor family- they planned on going and still not sure if they can go or have to stay home!
ursula- wow your story is amazing! I must admit that when I saw this thread I was going to post that I am also fed up sometimes but since I read your post I cannot say that anymore. I cant say that its always easy but thank you!
I would not care getting a CZ diamond ring- of course I want it to be a nice one but why put someone into financial trouble for a ring. I once mentioned it to a couple friends who were talking about it and they all said I am nuts for being willing to give up something like that! Maybe they are just babyish about the whole thing. I would not care if my sisters dont have custom made gowns- I just really would want my mother to look stunning! (I guess in that case I should not get married in the next few months as she is pregnant! UCH but that is a different story for another time!)
