popa- I think all yummy meant to point out was that you should not date a guy and marry him because of ROMANCE but rather for real reasons. do your hashkafos match? personality? yes- there is love and romance between guys and gals but that is not why you should marry someone

wolf- your post really touched me. Thank you for letting me see the other side of the story. No- my father is not a bad person, a mean person and yes he loves his children and is a great guy but he had (HAD) a bad habit! I used to get so upset when ppl told me that my father is so special but now i wont!

MOD 80- Im not sure what was wrong with my other post but for some reason you did not let it go thru! Annoying but ok….anyhow i got a pair from zenni and an expansive pair from a store here but i only wear the ones from zenni! they are great thank you

being the daughter of a recent (very recent!) quitter I can tell you that it bring tremendous stress to the home. In my family it was a taboo topic- done in orivate and not very often but I still knew about it and it stressed me out like nuts. It came to a point where I could not live with it anymore and the thought of my father dying would haunt me every second of the day. I wrote him a letter (first time the issue came out in the open) and B”H he accepted my criticizm and stopped! thank you hashem

i think i first found out about the YWN and started reading it and somehow got started on the Coffeeroom….now I dont even look at the front page and go straight to the coffeeroom!

the other day i got a delivery from them and they were so nice and pleasant to deal with- even the “shleppers” are friendly. There are other stores in Monsey that are great too but there is something with all fresh that cant compete…. there is a special “chein” in that place…. does that make sense to say abotu a store? Ok enough about them now what is happening in pathmark’s place? when are they opening up?

they only give money back if you pay with cash but i have a feeling they are going to lose that “special touch” when they move into a bigger place
what should i say to a close friend who just suffered a miscarriage in her 3rd month. baby would not have been healthy and she has other children but its so hard. I just read an article about saying “at least” when someone goes through a hard time. It is the worst thing!
i think that you just have to be sensitive and not be “tip-toeing” around them and never saying anything about your kids for fear of hurting them. be natural and normal and know that no matter what you do its a hard thing for them to go through and you will never be able to understand and never should have to!
I happen to be very curious about what the story is with them…. are they moving into Pathmark
not sure how it goes exactly but something like this- no matter where you are in life always freeze your panes so you can know where your origin was! great one i think

i hate the parking but they are just a bunch of nice, easy people to deal with. the place is just friendly…. managers, cashiers, workers….
