i think its a smart idea. its about time.
i have heard that calcium makes kids sleepy so I can imagine the pill working. we used to take melatonin ( a couple of my sibs and me) in order to function the next day but my doc told me its not certified in the US because its not safe. they found that people who took it got cancer faster and lots of brown spots on their skin. the body produces melanin on its own and you are taking more than you need to fall asleep. he suggested doing exercise and reading. works great. once in a while, after a couple of nights of o sleep my mother will give my sis a half a pill of melatonin but its addictive and unhealthy so be very careful.

physically? well then you have a point and you are right. but is that the first thing you ask when you hear about her past?
you have to be comftorable with her past but you should also try to put it behind you and look at her now. if she is able to get past it and move on you should be able to also. it doesnt mean shes bad. it doesnt mean shes not stable. it doesnt mean shes gonna go back there. you would have to do lots and lots of checking to make sure shes really past that stage and wasnt “physically” harmed (you know what I mean) but otherwise I dont see a reason to make a blanket statement that you dont wanna go out with a girl who was once off.

I remember thinking that I wish I didnt have to fast until my uncle was sick with cancer and had to eat on Yom Kippur. he said it was the worst thing in the world. you are dying and wanna fast all day and beg Hashem to give you another year of life but you have to eat!

you have not been out of town. go for a shabbos and come back to NY you will see what they mean. not nec are they mean people but there is more going on and they are just making sure they have a parking spot and putting money in the meter they have no time for you.

Its obviously easier to say these things once you are engaged and out of that nisayon but its just something to think about. and i love the fact that no one can push your bashert away. it just goes to show that unless you are dating guys and saying no for no good reason you obviously did not meet your bashert yet. you dont wanna get married to the wrong guy and go through a divorce C”H just so that you can get things moving. you will appreciate your husband more and more every single day that you wait for him.

the question is if you really need something to be done and looking for a way to get ac child to do it or if you would just rather the lights be turned on and off all shabbos and thats what you have in mind to do from the beginning. did the situation just come up and you cant run to a rav or before shabbos you said I will leave on the bedroom light and just have my 2 year old turn it off before she goes to bed?
happy to give you all hope. Im not going to pretend that I dont know girls that will be great wives and are still single. I know many of those. Unfortunately. I have a friend who’s almost never redt shidduchim and never goes out and she would be the most amazing wife and mother possible. I promise. but she does have some family stuff and is the youngest so I dont think her parents are being very proactive in all honesty. does that mean she should suffer? no! it means that hashem knows she who her bashert is and will send it to her very soon. its hard to be the last one though.

I think I posted once that I felt the same way. and bpt said that by Feb he thinks ill be walking down to the chuppa. well he sure was right! LOL I was not in a rush but when the right one came around I just went with it and not looking back B”H anymore.
