DY- who are you talking to? me?
I am young but I am very deep and logic (can get emotional too but whatever) and I find that among my friends I dont feel like they really understand me all that well

I always find it funny when my married friends talk about their husbands using their first name. I think its nicer to just say my wife.

no i think it would be un-reject in this case. why cant we just make up one word? Is there a way for one Mod to get in touch with another and ask him/her why they did a certain thing. like can MOD80 email that mod who changed your title and ask why that was done?

this is the reason so many teens are texting on Shabbos. I heard from Rabbi Wallerstein that he went to Reb Shmuel Kaminetzky who told him that 20% (that is a not normally high number) of teens are texting on Shabbos and that is only as far as he can tell. Does anyone realize how many that is. Its not a normal thing!
But back to coffee’s question which is more important….
I have a prepaid unlimited texting and talking and a verizon LG phone. Great plan- its so cheap and unlimited.

bpt- I agree with what you said but what do you mean about marrying someone your own age so they are on the same maturity level as you are? did you mean that as a general statement or just to bomb?

just reminded me of a story. someone once called my father and wanted to ask him if it was ok for his wife to call my mother and ask her about something. so the guy called and asked my father “is it ok for my rebetzin to ask your wife about her experience with….” my father hung up rolling….your wife is a rebetzin but my wife is just a wife. it was funny!

I can just tell you that when my brother is in the hospital (my special brother) the tehillim is also my ONLY true friend, so i can understand you.
i say there are maybe around 10 but only 4 or so that actually visit this site and even dare to post sometimes. ( I don’t mean 80 he is obviously different.)

your post sounded like you thought we are single because we are sitting at home waiting for mr. perfect to knock on the door and beg. Far from it. I will give up of lots of things. I will NOT give up on lots of things….. thats how it is. I am single because he just didnt come around ( no not mr perfect but mrs perfect for me!)

what makes you say that I’m not doing my best and that my parents are not trying their best. To be very honest, I was hurt by your comment. What makes you think that we are sitting back and doing nothing? we are not still single because we are lazy but rather because Hashem wants us to be this way. we are networking. we are trying. but it takes lots of effort and Hashem is the one that makes it happen not our efforts (although they do help and thats hishtadlus but in the end its not up to us!)
they live here because its close to lots of places and a nice place to live in terms of weather, kosher amenities….but the world in general is sick! Maybe a Jewish getto wouldn’t be so bad
bpt- I remember you once posting that there is nothing better than a good marriage and nothing worse than a bad one.
its not so scary. i redt a shidduch- they went out 3 times. its tough and takes courage but its such a good feeling. i would want someone to do it for me.

NY is such a sick place to live
I have been to the three best in my area. I can seriously tell you that not one helped me at all. Two of them messed me up and told me things that made no sense. They should be banned from society. The third did nothing good but nothing bad. I guess that is a bracha too….
This taught me that change has to come from within. You need a good friend and lots of courage and you’re good to go.
the mods like to bother ppl like this. just ignore and move on. we all need you here.

I can tell you what its like. It’s lonely and empty and no one that really understands you. You talk to this one about something and then someone else about something else…. you have no stability. you do whatever YOU think is right…. no one guiding you and constantly believing in you and helping you become a better person. It’s tough!
