I just had a whole fight with a friend of mine about this. She says that I don’t have enough “shtultz” and have to have more self esteem. On the other hand, I feel like there is no reason for me not to do a chesed or something that can be helpful to someone else. I think better say yes if you can

I dont know if this is what the person meant but they might have wanted you to say Baruch Hashem and acknowledge where that blessing is coming from. I have a teacher in HS who was very into this and it was amazing to see how she followed through. She never said good, fine….she always says Thank you hashem I’m doing great or something like that. YOu dont have to be “gush” forth like she does but just realize that all the good in your life comes from Someone and its not just random. Same for the hard times.

I dont think any of them HATE me per-se but I dont think they like me that much either. I’m here way too often and give them way too much work for them to like me…
i am definitely a party type more of the time but sometimes I also need my space
