Health- I wasn’t saying that its the way it should be but i think people come in hoping to get something out of marriage but then the minute they dont get it they are out. I think they have to realize that marriage is going to mean being flexible and making changes in the life that you built for yourself.

I would talk it over with someone else who knows the neighbor and would be able to tell you what to tell them without hurting them. Is there anyone else on the block that has this issue. I think if you’re not a kallah teacher/rov/mentor in a community you cannot conduct this study and you could never know how much this affects young couples. its a scary thing to start and not worth it!!!!!!!!!

I have a friend who I believe is anorexic. I dont know if shes fasting today but I dont think she fasts. I hope shes getting the right therapy but who knows…its so hard to watch her starve herself. I hope shes on the road to recovery…. also have a neighbor whos anorexic- A boy!!!!
go to a Yiddish speaking elementary school. I just told someone that I know yiddish and he was laughing so hard- he said its so not my type….I guess thats what happens when you go to a yiddish speaking elem school

I agree that the ones that get married older have a harder adjustment- I think they come in to a marriage hoping that a wife will “fit in” with their already “made” lives and they are less willing to change their little world that they built for themselves.
Just heard about a girl my age- young girl married for 2-3 months who’s pregnant and got divorced. she married her next door neighbor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the CR would go nuts and the mods would have to hold a special banquet with lots of food from Doughies to figure it all out.

bpt- It sounds like you’re looking for the easy way out. Divorce is not mean whenever someone is going through a tough time. why cant she help him and pull him out of it? if it was bothering her for 10 years then its a different story but it sounds like its a new thing thats bothering her and shes saying in hindsight that he has not had a job for 10 years.
I dont think I would beat them but I just cannot fathom why someone would want to do something like that. Its beyond me…..just give her the dumb get and thats it

I think anywhere between 10 and 15 dollars a day. what do you need more than that for?

you should get in touch with them. we get together with brooklyn families all the time. they are very helpful and very encouraging. What i like about their organization is that they dont forget the other children in the family and they make sure to take care of the mothers too!

yes my parents had guests all the time when I was growing up but i think its different once there are children there too and its not just the 2 young couples. JMHO
where do you live? maybe you can hire a girl to come help you at home for 1-2 hours a day- just like bedtime, baths, cleaning up from supper….

coffee- all new changes take time and while its hard to pick up and move its a new start for you. look at it that way. you are here anyhow you might as well make good use of it. if your complaint is the recycling then youre doing very good. do you have nice neighbors? I love the fact that you can walk anywhere in bp at any time of the day or night

You never know what the future is going to hold with anyone in life but for sure not with a special child. You think your child might need tonz of therapy (which was the case with my brother) but then other things cropped up and we are so busy with that that there’s no time for therapy.
