and my closest friend just got engaged to a guy from the same home town as my chosson. we both moving to the same place!!! Its hysterical. the whole world is freaking out about it. (if you know us!)

Thank you guys. It was a really really fast one. I shocked myself too. sort of like happened without any glitches. I wish all of you would be zoche to get your tefillos answered as easily and fast as I did. I really cannot say what I deserved but it was a really fast one. Baruch Hashem!!!!!!!! its a lot worse when you have a special child with you. they jsut all stare what do they think?
just daven for the new couple that they dont get swept into their parents arguements. the parents might have had a very good reason for not wanting the shidduch but once you see that they are under the chuppa and married you have to change your mindset and be happy for them and daven that it works out.

i dont think you get what you are saying and neither do any of us. the mods are almost always here. they sometimes take breaks for like an hour or something but not longer than that.
why dont you ask for them to either add hair to this one and make it as good as new or a new (they should pay half or something) wig
I just read your post and Im almost crying for you. You sound like such a wonderful caring sister and friend. Do you know how they met? Was it through you? I think you should have your brother speak to someone (rabbi wallerstein as mentioned above). I dont think you should talk to your friend- your brother will prob listen to you more than your friend. If your parents are not going to help then dont involve them- ur brother will just feel like you are trying to embarrass him and get him in trouble with your parents.

happiest- I dont mean to br nosey but arent you scared that this family member that abused you will abuse others too? I mean like your siblings and things. dont you still see them around at simchos and things?
and daven a lot for them and for the other siblings. there is nothing like a sincere tefillah.
encourage them to go and tell them that you are going to take them and pay for them…. try your best to help them and get them to go to someone they can relate to.

omg I am from Monsey and figured out who you are talking about. She is the nicest lady btu I dont know anything about her being a principal. This is so cute!!!!!!! Just have fun its a great year. Wait until you get to high school. i was once a conselor for girls going into 9th grade and i rem that at the end of the summer they were frantic for school. chill they are the best years of your life.

80- i think thats more like it! you have to bring something. most ppl I know bring a nice glass plate or jar and they bake something and fill it. either like cinnamon buns or a cake of some sort thats nice and tasty and homey
