People who refuse to vaccinate their children are rotzchim. The children should be forcefully vaccinated and definitely not let into school.

achosidParticipantFour shuls that I personally daven in had a grand total of two people on Friday night, and no one on Shabbos day. I plan on continuing to ask around.
Meanwhile, the Agudah of Avenue L had 1,500 people for Kabolas Shabbos……
Apparently, the local resident went for the free Yehuda Green concert.
achosidParticipantI am staying home. Going away to a hotel is despicable. That is my personal opinion, which I am entitled to.
But feel free to call me names, and yell at me.
Let’s discuss this.
achosidParticipantMAJOR BUMP!!

achosidParticipantThat was the Jewish Press headline.
They are as bad as the NY Post when they did a front page photo of Menachem Stark and asked “who DIDN’T want him dead?”
Reshoyim.
achosidParticipantJust mention Oomis in the CR, and that will take care of your problems.
November 26, 2013 11:25 pm at 11:25 pm in reply to: Chofetz Chaim: It's not just a Yeshiva. It's a way of life. #989167achosidParticipantFrom what I understand, CC guys do not keep learning indefinitely until they have to start working like guys from other yeshivas do. CC only lets them stay in yeshiva as long as they feel is necessary after which they make them leave and get jobs. But for the ones. Who plan to get smicha they feel that it is necessary preparation for their job to learn in kollel for a few years after getting married and since they don’t encourage living off of tzedaka they therefore look for wives who have jobs and can support a family for a few years before the husband himself gets Smicha and starts earning a living as well. Either way, the husband’s parnasa is not going to be much as a Rabbi so the wife has to have a decent-paying job. Plus as mentioned above, many of the guys work side jobs during kollel so this sounds very much in line with the Rambam.
achosidParticipantha – poppa has a wife.
any other humor for the morning?

Just another male acting like a female here.
Disgusting.
achosidParticipantI hear more arrests are imminent.
Prod.
achosidParticipantAny help?
achosidParticipantWhat part is shocking?
achosidParticipantI agree. It’s a mitzvah to use a cattle prod.
Mitzvah min hamuvchar to have a gold-plated cattle prod with “harei she gitech” engraved on it.
achosidParticipantMaybe they were roasting the treif meat with a cattle prod?
achosidParticipantSomeone who uses a cattle prod, is a rasha.
October 11, 2013 7:18 pm at 7:18 pm in reply to: Why no mention of Rav Ovadiah in Monsey/Lakewood, etc. #978786achosidParticipantMonsey is too busy using “cattle prods” to be busy with Rav Ovadia Yosef zatzal.
achosidParticipantI’m opening a “cattle prod bais din”.
achosidParticipantWhich Monsey story is better, the treif meat, or the cattle prodding?
achosidParticipantThanks for your responses.
Where do Rabbonim go for training in using cattle prods? I ask this, because I heard that Rabbonim have been using them lately.
Thank you.
achosidParticipantWorst of it all, once again a frum snitch made this news happen.
I am not condoning their behavior. But someone tried to get off their own legal problems, and did this.
achosidParticipantYay!!!! Welcome back!!
Now we need purplicious to come back so we can wish her a big mazel tov !!!!!

a decent week is 25% of the photos.
achosidParticipantMazel tov to Tanta on becoming a Mommy. Mazel Tov to popa_bar_abba on the birth of his nephew
achosidParticipantI took this from “matzeiva”.

He claims he is going to help chareidim support their families. How righteous.
Lipman claims that he hears positive feedback from chareidim he speaks to. His vision and his understanding of what the chareidi community feels is skewed or he simply wishes to completely ignore the truth. The fact is that Lipman represents no one but himself and those who wish to see the chareidi community crumble.
Is it honor that drives him? Is it the glamour (?) of being a Knesset member? Is it his desire to be derided by the greater chareidi community and its leaders? Who knows.
Lipman, do the right thing.

achosidParticipant“one can go out and buy beer, but not before havdalah”
Huh?
What are you talking about? Don’t you say ata chonantanu in shemona esrei? You can do any melacha you want after that. The only thing you can’t do is eat.
achosidParticipantAccording to the Vilna Goan, you are supposed to make havdallah on beer on Motzei Pesach.
SO not sure your contest would be in line with halacha.
March 19, 2013 4:44 pm at 4:44 pm in reply to: 200,000,000 Spent Yearly by Patrons on Pesach Hotel Programs #938962achosidParticipant“A Rov who is very involved with Kashrus just said on the radio that 200,000,000 is spent collectively by patrons on Pesach programs yearly”
Who is this Rov? How is he “very involved in kashrus? Why the anonymity?
Did he count the money?
achosidParticipantWow! great question.
Ask your Rabbi.
Once your there, ask him all the rest of your halacha questions, and leave them out of this place.
achosidParticipantMatjas and bourbon anytime.
Breakfast lunch or dinner.
achosidParticipantjust noticed that we can now comment on the videos at the bttom of the homepage…
oy boy is this going to be a blast….
achosidParticipantCare to fill us in on where this was?
achosidParticipantpopa out of control classic!
achosidParticipantAs long as its Rolling Rock….bring it on!
achosidParticipantRight….. Take your kids in the freezing cold…. Walk 1 block away to get a 15 minute parking receipt…. It’s not normal.
But it’s ok. Our despicable (self-hating Jewish) Mayor could not care less.
February 4, 2013 8:43 pm at 8:43 pm in reply to: Saving A Pets Life – How Much Should I Spend? #926927achosidParticipantmercury – Be sure of what you said. Not many vets can properly treat a parakeet, and they might not be 100 percent honest with you.
February 4, 2013 8:21 pm at 8:21 pm in reply to: Saving A Pets Life – How Much Should I Spend? #926922achosidParticipantBy the way, next bird you get (which will be in a few days – this one won’t make it anyways), have his wings clipped. It costs alot less than $1000 (more like 10 bucks every 5 months). You can do it yourself also. Simple to learn how to do it.
90% of birds die in accidents like yours (fly into walls, windows, doors etc).
Pet birds are not meant to fly. They don;t even know what that is. They were born in cages. CLIP THE WINGS next time….and leave this poor fellow in the vet…
February 4, 2013 8:15 pm at 8:15 pm in reply to: Saving A Pets Life – How Much Should I Spend? #926920achosidParticipantI have had more than 20 birds in my life. All types.
I currently have an African Grey parrot, who says well over 300 phrases….in any event, a parakeet costs 30 bucks. Let it go. You made your hishtadlus. There are people starving in every frum neighborhood. They have not had $1000 for food in a year.
Hashem already has seen your love for his creations, as it says “kol hamirachem al habriyos mirachmim alav min HaShamayim….”
achosidParticipantANOTHER bump!
