sorry about that, apparently i havent made myself too clear. i meant today what is average/normal? for example girls graduating from high school-going to Israel for seminary than coming back and marrying a boy from lakewood would that be considered normal/average? and why would someone be “not-average”?

I had an idea which i repeat, is just an idea, and i’m not sure if this was brought up at all since i havent been following this topic too religiously but i would imagine some teens go off because they dont get answers to their questions and most schools dont really offer any kind of formal class where its possible to ask and be answered so i was thinking maybe it would be worth the schools having a class like once or twice a month which would go under the name of “kiruv-training” or something like that and would be directly geared to answering questions that teens have (which are often the same as those of baalei teshuva) the questions could be asked in a way where no one would be embarrassed since its not just a side point of the lesson but a class actually intended for questions and dealing with those kind of “issues”. in addition it would possibly help for teens to have somewhat of an interest in kiruv even if it would only be used down the road

there was a book called the perfect life which was a story (i would imagine one that was originally true) about a couple with 2 kids that were very happy and then the husband or wife landed a certain role in a play about a couple about to get a divorce, they were rehearsing a scene when unfortunately a good friend of the wifes happened to be coming up the drive to see her yell and scream at her husband the friend spread it around town and people stopped associating with them and the husband was turned down for a promotion when they realized what was going on it was too late because the friend who started all the rumors had gotten sick and shed passed away so no one was able to undo the damage from an “innocent mistake” these stories happen often unfortunately but we dont always hear both sides of it. I think this is a branch of the fact that people have virtually no respect today

When “the big event” was banne one of my techers handed out several articles about it and spent time discussing music, she mentioned how a girl was texting her friend and mentioned that she had a certain disney song and since the ban she was debating if she should listen to it and was asking for her friends “two cents” her friend replied that she should listen to it if the music would bring her closer to Hashem and make her a better person in any way… the sole purpose of music is meant to bring us closer to Hashem. just because a song does not originate from a jewish source if it will someway somehow improve your yiras Hashem (i know this is highly unlikely, but i guess anything is possible) than i dont see the problem with it. Bear in mind that still today there are singers, composers who are writing completely new tunes that did NOT originate from a goyish source.
