I have a Magic Mill and I use 6 pds. of flour. My daughters all have a Bosch and prefer that one.( They’ve used both).

Oomis: I’m with you on this one. Boy have times changed. I received an engagement ring only a few weeks before my chasuna, with not one other piece of jewelry. Can you imagine, I didn’t feel lacking at all. Nowadays things have really changed, most kallahs get at least 4 pieces of jewelry and they could still complain! The saying goes, ” It’s not the ringel but the yingel! Unfortunately, we’ve raised a very materialistic generation.

Explode? Because there are many individuals who hold the kallah jewelry should be real. I say buy what you can afford, but buy real.

A worse problem I encountered lately ( witnessed twice this week)

in Brooklyn is drivers driving with a suspended licence. You may ask how do I know? Well they got into accidents of course and asked the other driver NOT to call police or they will be locked up!This is awful, if your licence is suspended, DON’T DRIVE!!

acers : You cant compare the menus or service. If you are looking for Kosher delight style ( unhealthy fast food) then of course that’s where you go.

WIY: Their steaks are the best, depending on your budget, the house cut is reasonable and delicious.Sweet potato fries are a great side dish. Enjoy!

I was going to wait and see what others much smarter than me reply, but I do want to add that we have heard many times throughout this thread of the issues with the father. You must understand no two people are alike, and we may very often hear that both parents need to be on the same page. That is not always possible especially when there is difficulties at home, as with this case.A mother has a different “gefil” to her children then a father and vice versa. I am sure that WOW is doing whatever she can and more to bring her husband on the same page as her! You cant pass any judgement on him or her , they are going through enough without it……

Aries: I was waiting to hear your reply for this one. I have a question though, How can a mother not be angry with her son at this point? There are so many emotions involved here. Your answers are extremely bright and informative, but I just keep thinking of what this poor woman must be going through….it is very easy for us as outsiders to give advice but she is living with this 24/7. How can one be as strong as you say when it is her own?

I’ve had both. Absolutely no comparison, Toyota is a much better car. The pick up is definitely better and the ride is much smoother! We definitely did not spend any less on gas with our Odyssey.

Dear proudbyg: I can not begin to describe the pain I feel in my heart for you.A mother is supposed to be a role model for us to emulate, unfortunately here this is not the case. I am begging you please listen to the survivor who is writing you on this thread. She has been there, she knows… You really must get away as soon as possible and work on building your one life. If your mother has borderline, its almost considered a lost case. Read up on it, you’ll see..Wishing you the siyata dishmaya you need to get yourself out of this, and to rebuild.

I never said no one cares, except me. Where did you see that? I asked why no one was writing about it? I know there was an outpouring of many people, bot not on this site. I think we can close this thread. No purpose to dwell on it further. I got my answer.
