I don’t quite get why you feel this way ? It takes two to tango … It really depends on each individual case. What I do find is an issue today is that , no one is willing to work on their marriage . They feel spouses are disposable like aluminum pans ….. Marriage takes a lot of hard work and compromise.

Health: welcome back !! Good to hear from you again.

CHANIE E: I wasn’t discussing likes or dislikes… I was discussing mesorah. I personally don’t eat after the eggs, maybe just a spoon of chulent. I serve the traditional Shabbos food to my family. No one is forced to eat anything, everyone eats what they like.I just wonder what a shabbos seuda will look like in 50 years from now for some of you? Maybe pizza?

One should definitely not be called by their first name under any circumstances by the opposite gender. When we work, we need to keep professionalism in the work place. There is no need to get that friendly with the opposite gender! It takes away from the atmosphere which is needed , which should be conducive to producing. We came to work to do our jobs and be successful at it. We are not coming to find a shidduch for ourselves.

It is very unfortunate ( to put it mildly)that in our circles there are many parents who twist their childrens’ minds against one spouse! They are not thinking of their childrens’ future! They are actually killing their own children! They only have revenge in their mind! How could someone do that to their own child(ren)? i know of one very special case. She is truly a remarkable woman. She never ever discusses one negative word against her ex husband to anyone especially her children. She says she doesn’t need them to suffer needlessly for a decision she made. He will always be their father.

Her children are the most adjusted and normal children from a divorced home I ever met! She put her feelings aside and loves her children dearly!

It depends what you are looking for? Gold hand watches for men are getting harder to find. Leather bands are more popular. A gold watch with a brand name like Longines goes for $3200 today…..

A lot of chosenim go for Stainless watches or leather bands.

Are there any Yiden in your community that you could hook up with? Do you have a job? You must’ve moved there for a reason? I understand that you both have moved away from family and friends, try to make new friends and new connections. Please help yourself, you must realize we are limited here, not knowing your situation.

Seriously speaking, Being depressed when you’re expecting isn’t really a good thing. Rather I should say depression isn’t ever really a good thing. Make sure you get the support you need to get out of this! I don’t know enough about your situation to guide you properly. Is this about loneliness?

Someone has contacted me to dedicate a daily shuir that is given on the phone. That is quite reasonable. I would love to dedicate a Sefer Torah as well, but haven’t been able to , yet….. I like the idea of sponsoring Torah learning. There is an organization called Bnos Melochim in Monsey that takes sponsorship for this as well.

May your deceased relative have an aliyas neshama!
