    whats wrong with this questions?

keep in mind, never admit anything.

I was one speeding on the freeway (if you call dricing 70 MPH on an empty 8 lane freeway speeding..) state trooper stopped me.

asks if there is any reason for my speeding, to which I replied that I am very sorry (silly, sorry for what?!) and i dont have any reason.

i tried to explain, that since we were going downhill, it could bet that I did not realize that I was speeding.

he smiled, retreated to his car, returned a few minuted later with a ticket.. smilingly he handed it to me, told me to drive safely.

I checked the ticket, on the back it stated. that I admited that I was speeding.

.. it defenatly gave the lawyer an excuse to charge more!

However I know some Gerer that by no chance do they keep these chumras, from their doing the contrary is true.

Its a chassidus, a chasid is more like a club member, doesnt necessary mean that the person in question will accept on himself any of these rules.

What I do, as soon as the cop starts telling me what I did wrong. (or asking me if I know what I did, to which I of course I answer No!)

I make it as if I am getting a lecture, I ask all sort of questions like, wow, I always thought that it was permitted to turn on red if I am in the intersection.. (just make sure not to admit the violation)

I got pulled twice, Once it helped (just had to listen to a lengthy driving course. the other time the trooper smiled and said here you go and there was the ticket..

I know that. However in this case Verizon, the provider didn’t go down rather it was a technician that messed up. They should have the ability to forward the number like you can forward a cell phone.

Besides, you have the ability to set it up, so that when the line is down, it automatically ‘jumps’ to a different number, it gets forwarded on its own.

As I mentioned. Most call centers have hosted PBX, VoIP and regular pot lines (we have service from more than one company) as a safety net. Hatzolo should do the same.

    They sure can.

    A. If you host them.

    B. if you set up that each time the line is down, it automatically jumps to a different line.

I dont get it. Hatzola should be a bit more sophisticated than that!

When the lines in my business went down. i had full control. as we have POT lines, VIOP and hosted PBX. it takes a few seconds to switch it.

Just make sure that you and people you know (especially if you have anyone that will listen to you) drinks in moderation, or at least with some selfcontrol.

Drinking to much is a serious matter, we (we as in the community) have had more than enough stories

I dont know your situation, however since you are asking for advice, I will give you whatever I have.

I would recommend that you take a short break, even for just two days.

In these two days, do not think about anything, just relax learn and read.

Once the short Rest comes to its end, sit down and write up a plan.

Of course this means that you have to calculate all of your expenses.

Again, I am no professional, just a plain person giving plain advice.

After reading some of these posts I can’t stop wondering why this thread is still un-closed.

After all some of the posters are commenting things which are Kefira, at least in the eyes of the yeshivish world.

And yes, I studied advanced A&P.

    What’s the issue?

Is it that your missing out on the goodies, or that your concerned about lacking the necessary nutrients.

I am severely allergic to milk (anaphylaxis), I have never eatin a dairy meal. I don’t feel deprived.

I do carry an epipen with me all the time. (my rav told me to carry it on shabbos even if there is no Eruv).

There are other foods that are rich in calcium.

do you have an air purifier?

I will not question your doctor, however when I was a child, I did had bad allergic reactions, my doctor told my parents to get rid of the carpet in my bedroom.

    It made a huge difference.

He also said that I should not sleep with down blankets.

I went for about two years on weekly allergy shots. I dont know if they really help or not, however I rarely get a reaction.

remember its the Allergen that you want to avoid.

First, figure out the CAUSE to your allergies!

For instance, you mentioned that you are allergic to mites and dust.

    does your bedroom have carpet?

    Is your mattress old?

do you have mold in your house?

I am no doc. however I did suffer from everything you mentioned.

    Same thing is with Asthma.

Asthma is a chronic condition, however you can control it.

you must figure out what is causing the attacks.

(Sometimes shedding a few pounds helps to)

B”H my allergies and asthma are fully in control.

Every situation is unique, however in my opinion, first try to figure out what is causing the reaction.

    C_A_D well said.

People should know better than to believe everything they read online.

I am who I am, and know what I know, (do I have to prove that?) I have seen countless things online which are false or not accurate.

Thanks for reminding us about this.

what kind of info would you like?

most info is available on the web.

Basically seizures itself can be harmful when it is for an extended time, status epilepticus, which can cause some damage. ALS care is needed to stop the seizure.

then there are the tonic clonic (Grand Mal) Seizures. and the Myoclonic ones.

In general Seizures are not so significant unless they occur more than once.

This is from my memory, I am no Doctor.

    Health.

    Care is the right word.

I have seen lots of nurses that simply don’t care. And some that do. The difference is huge.

The same goes with first responders. Those that deliver excellent patient care, and those that make the patient feel miserable.

I dont think you understood what I wrote.

Door knob assesment is sort of the general assesment (or initial assesment).

We are also required to take a full set of vitals from each patient (vitals are vital..).

However when you enter the patients room, you should be able to know within the first seconds if this is a sick patient or not. Before you interview or take vitals.

It’s not. Text book thing. Store iit in your mind for after you graduate.

I read it in one of my cardiology books, I told it to a medic, he told me that it’s called that way.

That proff. Claimed that it shouldn’t take you more tha six seconds to know off hand if this patient is sick or not.

And that it takes her students four to six weeks to master this.

I dont know you or your situation. However I would recomend that you read and research until you are fully aware of your issue(s).

The easiest way to work on yourself is by first knowing what is going on. and by knowing I mean really knowing.

There are a lot of books out there. I would recomend “Awareness” by M Adarhan.

There might be better ones out there, however I had sucess with this one.

The rest of the OP i really dont get.

are you questioning if the money from EY is an aveira or not?

or are you sincerly questioning the ways of the Kanoim?

as far that i am aware, Satmar does not accept any money from the EY.

    Good.

and remeber that each situation is umique, base all your findings according the present situation.

As the saying goes, do not treat the monitor, treat the patient.

You should also work on obtaining experience in “door knob assesment”. which is getting a feel of whats going on just by entering the patients room.

Also, take the medical advice given on this (or any online) forum with a grain of salt!

again, Hatzlacha on all your studys.
