Fortunately, the saint:- Michael Bloomberg, has the cure. Outlaw guns, and get all guns off the streets of America.

Michael Bloomberg is so absolutely correct & on target. To quote the Mishna in Pirkei Ovos in transformed words:- “Marbei Guns >>>> Marbei Murders”.

Michael Bloomberg must draft a new amendment to undo the 2nd amendment, and outlaw the right to bear arms.

How can you enlightenedjew guarantee? Are you a Novi? or future teller? or fortune teller?

But just in case “enlightenedjew’s guarantee” doesn’t work out despite a “Guarantee”, then how about:- Go to Amukah? and then get onto the computer & register onto Frumster & Orthodate?

This whole Gadol Hador concept is mainly for the yeshivishe crowd, and definitely not for Yerushalmis.

Actually this entire concept, leHavdil Eleph Havdolos, is for catholics, who specifically elect a pope to be their official manhig.

How about learning Kitzur Shulchon Oruch, in light of the fact that Rav Shlomo Ganzfried ZTKLLH’H [author of Kitzur Shulchon Oruch] & Rav Elayashiv ZTKLLH’H both share the same Yohrzeit of Tammuz 28th, albeit 126 years apart.

From this Saturday nite? or from next Saturday nite?

Hopefully at MetLife Stadium. At least he would speak English or/& Ivrit, and not Yiddish.

In light of all that he has done for Jonathan Pollard, it would be a huge Zechus to hear this Rov address 90,000 Jewish people, since he is such a huge Oheiv Yisroel.

The 9 days is a good time to be careful as a Hachono for Parshas vaEschanan which states:- veNishmartem Meod leNafshoseichem.

Talking on blue tooth &/or cell phone, is not only dangerous for a driver, but also for a pedestrian, and not only during the 9 days, but all 365&1/4 days of the year.

But 9 days is also an excellent opportunity to stay safe & quit smoking because:- 1) 1 less danger during the 9 days; 2) It weans you of 1 addiction prior to Tisha b’Ov when smoking is Ossur; 3) Can save money wasted on cigar[ette]s to prepare your outfit & travel expenses for Bi’as haMoshiach.

I met him on Friday of the Asseres Yemei Teshuvoh back in 1985, when I posed to him the question of Yom Tov Sheni issue?

He asked me, if I were to meet a rich Swiss girl, would I quit on being in Israel? I said, no. He told me to observe 1&1/2 days Yom Tov.

Ad haYom haZeh, whenever I spend Yom Tov in Israel, I observe 1&1/2 days Yom Tov. In latter years I got this same Pesak from 2 other Gedolim.

That same year, 7 months earlier, I had met his Mechuton, the Steipler who looked more like a Mal’och than like a human being, bearing in mind, that I had never seen a photo of the Steipler before meeting him.

That same year, I also saw his other Mechuton, Rav Shlomo Zalman Auerbach numerous times, when I spent a few months in Sha’arei Chessed and saw him at the Gr’a Shoule almost daily. By the way I often led services or/& Leined the Torah, and Rav Shlomo Zalman Auerbach never had a complaint and kept allowing me to perform. Only comment he ever made to me to fix up, was to recite Kaddish d’Rabbonon if no-one else recites it, despite having my 2 parents. I could never bring myself to do that, until this year when unfortunately I have become a Chiyuv.

As we get nearer to the elections, I shall have to carefully evaluate & monitor, if it shall have a bigger impact, if I relocate to Florida, or Ohio, or Colorado, or one of the other swing states, but I am in touch with estate agents in all 3 states as well as some of the other swing states, as well as with moving firms, so that I can on very short notice relocate to the state which appears to be having the closest & hence tightest race.

Why do the girls have almost all the unusual names, but the boys don’t have nearly as many unusuals as the girls?

Because there are approximately 6 times as many male names as female names in the TeNaCh.

Refoel is common, but why have I never met a Tzephaniah? considering we recite a Possuk from his Sepher immediately preceding Korbonos each & every morning. & why have I never met a Yishmoel? who was such a smart Rabbi to devise the 13 mnemonics to learn Torah? & why have I never met an Abbaye? nor a Robbo?

& if the name “Miriam ” is being so widely utilized, why is no-one utilizing the name “Machalo” from the 5 smart daughters in both yesterday’s & again in this week’s Parsha.

Spend Shiva Ossor b’Tamuz in the Southern Hemisphere, and Assoro b’Teves in the Northern hemisphere.

For Yom Kippur & Tisha b’Ov, go the most Western part of the earth, and minutes after the commencement of Yom Kippur & Tisha b’Ov respectively, step over the Jewish Date Line, to the most Eastern part of the earth, and you shall have already just concluded Yom Kippur & Tisha b’Ov in a matter of minutes.

kfb: You should celebrate Yom ha’Atzma’ut simply because of the Menuchas haNefesh that you know that should there ever be a pogrom in the USA {& if Chas v’Sholom Obama wins a 2nd term, this certainly cannot be ruled out} you know we have a haven open to us in Eretz Yisroel.

This is only the tip of an iceberg. There is a lot more reason for celebrating Yom ha’Atzmaut even in Chutz lo’Oretz.

If you cannot say “No” then say “Lo”.

Also, try & call the Shadchan at a time when you believe s/he shall be out and you are likeliest to get an answering machine, and then just be firm & decline, and explain that it is not your normal policy nor mode to decline, and ordinarily you give the potential candidate at least a 2nd chance, but in the given situation you simply don’t want to give any false illusion.

Of-course if the Shadchan has an e-mail, and the Shadchan won’t take No or “Lo” over the phone for a response, just send an e-mail [irrespective of what anyone at the Asifah ever said]. Makes sure your message or e-mail is in English & not in Yiddish.

Of-course also:- Always thank Shadchan profusely for his/her time & efforts, even if you don’t mean it. ………. & if Friday or Rosh Chodesh or Ellul, add Good Shabbos/Good Chodesh/Shono Tovo in your message, even if you are irate at the Shadchan.

They should learn Korach to stay away from his deeds, and more importantly, they should learn from “Ohn” to listen to one’s wife, and stay aloof from trouble.

Of-course being generous with Terumo & Ma’aser & Terumas Ma’aser as delineated in this week’s Parsha is also a great topic.
