My 3rd Chumro is that I shall spend a few days in the Southern Hemisphere this coming weekend, so that I can really feel the full impact of the tragedies of Assoro b’Teves by fasting at the summer solstice.

To me 12 is significant, because this coming Shabbos shall be the 5th Shabbos in a row that we read the Haftoro from the Trei Ossor = the 12 prophets. No-one can put on a show, for such an extended amount of time of 10+ hours, and if indeed the fellow has some problem, it will surly surface in an extended date, and give that you “micro” are still interested in him after such a long date, implies that highly unlikely that he is hiding a major flaw from you.
