It may simply be an issue of crowd control. Water Street is wider than any Street in Borough park. Even Raoul Wallenberg [Formerly 13th] Avenue is not as wide as Water Street, and I don’t think they would ever get a permit to cordon off Ocean Parkway for a march.

Crowd control is a serious issue, and can under no circumstances be treated lightly.

Margaret Thatcher Z’L was a firm beleiver in the Issur meDeOrraiso of “Lo Sasig Gevul Re’acho” and of the statement of “Orur hoIsh Asher Masig Gevul Re’eihu” therefore she took no nonsense from the Argentinans when they had the audacity to storm into the Falkland Islands, and to true protect the Falkland Island’s legitimate boundaries, sent down the British Army to rightfully take back the Falkland Islands.

This strong conviction of hers, was a defining moment in her prime ministerhood.

Margaret Thatcher Z’L was a tremendous Oheves Yisroel.

Margaret Thatcher Z’L was the one who single handedly, nominated the Late Chief Rabbi:- Lord Immanuel Jacobovits ZT’L to be a Lord; What was her reason?:- Because she admired his strong conviction to Mesoroh, and the fact that he would never bend from the truth, even when it was very uncomfortable.

Prime Minister Netanyohu has mentioned that he is flying to London to attend Margaret Thatcher’s Levayeh, becaise of her staunch Ahavas Yisroel; Let’s bear in mind, that this is a very difficult timing for Binyomin Netanyohu, as he surely is going to want to be in Israel on Thuesday for Yom ha’Atzmaut, and the very next day, he has to be in London for the Levaye.

In the current system, Yom ha’Atzmaut is only observed on Iyor 5th when it is a Wednesday [Happens in years when R’H shall be Shabbos].

When Iyor 5th is Shabbos, Yom ha’Atzmaut is Mukdom to Thursday Iyor 3rd.

When Iyor 5th is Friday, Yom ha’Atzmaut is Mukdom to Thursday Iyor 4th.

When Iyor 5th is Monday, Yom ha’Atzmaut id Nidche to Tuesday Iyor 6th, so that Yom haZikoron does not come out in juxtoposition to Shabbos, and hence is held off until Sunday nite.

Building onto BetShemeshInExile great insight, I should also add, it is stated that each Regel has a corresponding holiday:- Shovu’os has Purim [Both had a Kaboloh undertaking]; Sukkos has Chanukah [Porei Chag go down 1 in # everyday as does Beis Shamai’s candles]; Pesach has Yom ha’Atzmaut, as both entail a new founding & Liberation.

I would suggest and recommend that you choose a name from no longer living ancestor of yours or the name of a person that you knew who was special.

Yet even better:- Name after a living anscestor as per the Sephardi & Dutch Ashkenazi Minhog, and the 2 namesakes should grow from eachother in tranquility for many decades.

Of-course Israel’s founding fathers had no idea about this, but haShem who orchestrated this wonderful event was absolutely 100% aware of this facet.

Shame upon you rtabs to shy away from a civic duty.

Why is your time more precious than everyone else’s? It is no wonder that so many cases have thge wrong outcome, because so many people are evading their civic obligation.

The fact that you rtabs may think that having a jury decide somebody’s fate to be an absurd & redicillous system, is your perogative, and I couldn’t agree more wholeheartedly with you. If a Judge or attorney or court officer has to make such decisions, their career is on the pipeline, so they will take utmost care to arrive at the correct decision. The Jury has no future career depend on their decision and simply wants to get it over with and go home.

So yes rtabs, I absolutely agree with you, that the jury system is a miserable failure. But until such time that the system changes, no-one including you & your wife, are above the current law & system.

This year prior to Pesach instead of going to KRM for the big shopping spree, we went to Aron’s on Kissena Boulevard:- Also a cheaper store, but with a bigger car park where they bring your boxes to your car trunk. Furthermore, they segregated perishiables into a separate box, so we only had to unload 1 box immedeately, being late at nite, and could unload the other boxes on a subsequent day.

You Shticky Guy &/or your Children’s school picture books have insulted the entire scenario of Shevi’i Shel Pesach which we commemorated this past Monday and the 50 miracles accompanying that saga as mentioned in the Haggodo, and this attitude tragically brings us to the current mourning during the Omer as per “Lo Nohagu Kovod Zeh loZeh” haShem yeRachem.

However, some mitzvot (such as eating matza after the first night of Pesach) do not entail any punishments but do bring reward to those who opt to fulfill them.

Like going to a Mikva on Erev YK is a Mitzwah, but no Aveiro if don’t get to a Mikva on Erev YK.

But suppose the real cut off is sunset and not Tzeis haKochovim {& after all this is why we commence Shabbos before sunset in case sunset is the cut off} then why shouldn’t this option facilitate?

Just as cannot end 1st day Pesach early, by same token cannot commence 1st day Shovu’os late.

If you hold of part 2 of Omer for mourning, thou mayest have music at the wedding; Notwithstanding, if your Sheva Berochos run into Iyyor, they are to be musicless, like someone marrying on say Tammuz 15th, whose Sheva Berochos after Tammuz 17th also have to be musicless.

As far as guests who observe 1st 33 days attending wedding of someone during last week of Nisson, at time of wedding thou art on turf of Baal[as] Simcho and hence follow his/her Minhog & are allowed to partake in music. That day still counts towards thy 33 days, as you couldn’t shave. But cannot listen to music in car on way to of from that wedding.

This being subservient to Minhog of Baal[as] Simcha only works for Availus of Omer or 3 weeks if invited to Yemenite wedding before Roch Chodesh Ov, but for mourner of a relative {i.e. Sheloshim & Yud Beis Chodesh}, this facet would not work.

Because nobody wants to eat matzah once there is no mitzva for it.

BTW there already is no Mitzwah to consume Matzoh once the Seder is over, so I hope that once the Mitzwah to consume Matzoh was over, that you Yserbius123 were able to hold off another week before obtaining your pizza.

5 Kezeisim of Matzo is more than sufficient for 1 evening. 7 Kezeisim would simply be too much Matzo to handle.

Just learn how to be in control of your time, and plan the Seder schedule in a timely manner, so you simply do get up to Afikomon prior to Chatzos.

This may mean preparing for 2nd Seder way up front before Pesach, so can begin even 2nd Seder very shortly after nitefall. Careful planning goes an extremely long way.

    em>right after Esther’s second feast

Every one else fasted 3 days = 72 hours Nisson 14th thru 16th, whereas Esther camed to the feast 2 hours before end of Nisson 16th, hence fasted 70 hours as says:- “uveChein Ovo El haMelech” where “Chein” is Gematriyo of 70 {72-2}, and at that feast Homon was hanged, so his Johrzeit is Nisson 16th.

As trustsharer said, past tense of hang for people is hanged, and for all other usages, is hung.
