Shushing is done by either people who feel holier than thou or people who are jealous that no one is talking to them, but the second someone talks to them in shul, they’ll carry on a conversation.

It’s an actual halacha: when you shush someone in shul, you are being mevazeh someone b’rabim.

Shutting down Hollywood would be a good start.
The mainstream media gives a spotlight to these people. These killers do it for attention. The news outlets shouldn’t show the murderers faces.
Video games has a bad influence on people.

There are traps that an American in israel may fall that you’ll likely not find in America. You won’t really find an American teen who’ll go to a bar following going out for ice cream. I’m just giving an example that’s pretty common in Israel.

jdb so I give at the melave malka and buy an aliyah. What bothers me is I get treated like a fly on the wall, but when it comes to giving money, people all of a sudden send me emails and WhatsApp. In theory if I feel part of a Shul, I’ll pay for membership. And I’ve paid for membership before.

Yes but you don’t have to stay at your current job. There are a lot of jobs out there that pay similar salaries. If you have a business, that’s an accomplishment. I don’t think we were put here for a 9-5 job and to commute.

Avi K there is no free market in the US. It’s a crony capitalist system. China and Russia are closer to free market than the US, especially if you live in a blue state.

2Cents that’s the other side why it might not be a good idea. But, I don’t think the taxes take motivation away from people, when push comes to shove. Some people are businessmen and some people are workers. There will always be Alphas who run things.

A few factors. The stereotype about globalist Jews is actually a reality among a few liberal elites. They get many people upset with the poison that Hollywood produces, globalist policy that eliminates jobs to domestic workers, at . Also, instead of buying apartments in EY, we are moving for the comforts of American suburbs. I see a message of love to Israel while we can afford to and are physically able to. Then there is a flawed policy engineered by the left to let Islamists do whatever they want and they add fuel to the fire. The black power movement has been rejuvinated through black lives matter. The black people who owe civil rigyts to Jews spit on us. Mainly, it’s because we aren’t taking care of ourselves and the wrong ones call the shots.

I think maybe a fun week at school would be better. The rich kids get to go on fancy ski trips or to Florida, while less fortunate dont get to have as much fun. We have created a rich class vs poor class system in frum Judaism. It isn’t good.
