took math, american history, english comp, analyzing and interpreting lit and a few more. as long as my college will accept them i’d rather do it this way.

I took math, bio, american history, analyzing and interpreting lit, umm… the one that you’re taking now. Yeah, I’m all for cleps, why waste a whole semester if you could do it in a couple of hours. But if you think think you’re Queen of Procrastinating then I must be the Empress of Push-It-Off.

read a book, take a test and get credits for a class. not all colleges accept them. lol and i understand why – there’s no way you remember the information 10 minutes after the test. but then again, i barely sit through classes, so taking a real class would be the same thing for me.
College Level Examination Program. It’s a test on the whole course. This way you don’t have to waste a whole semester taking it, not to mention the cost of every 3-credits in college is kinda expensive.

asdf – CLEP = College Level Examination Program.
It’s basically a test on a given subject (math, history, science, etc), and if you pass this test you are awarded 3 or 6 college-level credits. The real trick is to be enrolled in a college that will accept these CLEP credits and apply them toward a degree. Many private colleges (i.e. Touro) only accept a max of 3 or 6 CLEP credits. Other colleges accept an unlimited amount, so that you can basically get a Bachelors degree without ever having sat through class.
The advantages – you can take a CLEP a week (or even 2-3 per week)and finish your entire degree in a matter of months. Also, it’s something like $200-300 per CLEP which is peanuts compared to paying college tuition.

I am pretty and young. It’s been quite some time since I took a CLEP. As a matter of fact one CLEP I took was paper-based (now all CLEPs, except for the essay part of English I think, are computerized) and then they would deduct points for every wrong answer. Nowadays there’s no points deducted for wrong answers.

I have been partying in real life every night since Thursday (sheva brochos, shabbos, sheva brochos/melave malka and now a chassune). Something tells me I have another sheva brochos or two this week (maybe not b/c this couple is from out of town).
My stomach has ceased to function from all the heavy food and Zantac isn’t working. Tried to get Tagamet but my local 24 hr pharmacy is on reduced holiday hours. Tums aren’t sold here and I can’t use Maalox.
Anyone have my favorite home remedy around – as in four shots of arak?

no but i sent in for the NYU language exam. i can get 16 credits without batting an eyelash. i wish i was fluent in another language besides Hebrew…
