Only a few days ago, USA President Joe Biden gave
BILLIONS OF DOLLARS to Iran,
which provides weapons and money to Hamas.

Not millions of dollars with an M, but billions of dollars with a B.
One million X 1,000 = one billion.

Less than a week later, Hamas, which is funded by Iran,
launches a HUGE attack against Israel.

THIS IS NOT A CO-INCIDENCE!!
JOE BIDEN IS PAYING FOR HAMAS TO ATTACK ISRAEL!!!
WHETHER HE REALIZES IT, OR NOT!!!

Lakewhut- I’m no Democrat but stop making this political. We have enemies on both sides of the aisle. Both parties have good players and bad players. Both parties have policies that are in line with Torah and out of line with Torah. The Torah does not dictate one or the other. Our enemy is Hamas. Our enemy is those who want to kill us and destroy our land. It’s not the Republicans, it’s not the Democrats, and it’s certainly not fellow Jews who don’t see eye to eye with you on politics. We are one people with many different opinions but let’s remember that we ALL stand together.

CTL: You know as well as anyone that all cash is fungible. Every penny used for humanitarian purposes frees up money to be used in other ways.

Whether you agree with the hostage deal or believe in the ability to restrict expenditures, not a penny has been released as of yesterday. The gross stupidity and efforts to “blame” broad swaths of Yidden as reflected in some of these posts is beyond embarrassing. If you go on some of the right-wing social websites frequented by the MAGA crowd (e.g. GabSocial, etc.), you will see some of the most vile, hateful anti-semitic, anti-Israel posts saying the U.S. should NOT give a dollar of aid to Israel and linking the terrorist attacks to global Jewish elites “domination of the world”.

Whether the money came from the USA or whether the money came from unfreezing Iranian assets, the bottom line is that Iran has BILLIONS OF DOLLARS more than it have ten days ago, and where it came from is a theoretical distinction without a practical difference.

The halachot of Pidyon Shevuyim teach that it is wrong to pay excessive ransom, because this gives the kidnappers an incentive to kidnap more people, and hold them hostage for ransom again. ONE BILLION DOLLARS per-person is obviously excessive ransom.

Which is in addition to the fact that a similar number of Iranian prisoners were freed.

Amil doesn’t have 6 Congress members who do anything. Each American is represented by only one member of the House of Representatives. She could not have voted for anyone not running in her district and had no association with the other 434 members of the House.
The Democrat Party died not collect dues, nor does it have card carrying members or require subscription to a specific ideology.
Parties I. Other countries have such things. Even in Israel one votes a party list. In the USA we vote for individual candidates. In my state the party lever was removed from voting machines more than 40 years ago. You must physically choose each candidate to vote.
