Why does everyone wait for a comment from Joseph- he sounds like a guy that needs a job (with some intelligence in the brain area)… I noticed some members work in the same office- is this the way they communicate so that their IT guy and boss can’t track their gossip emails??

Of course I was not joking. Almost nothing done over the internet is truly anonymous and untrackable. It all depends on how motivated and how empowered your tracker is.
For starters, every post here has an IP address tag. So anyone who wants to look can see the name of your service provider and the location (except in asdf’s case, where he has the IP bounce off a server in Ireland for kicks).

You can see the IP addresses? Where is that located? What is the last 4 digits of my IP address?
Err, my mistake. I can’t see the IP addresses. I must have been thinking of when I am logged in as a moderator. But don’t for a second doubt that if YW is recording IP addresses with posts, a motivated person can access them.
Oh – I thought I was going crazy for a second (I am, but it has nothing to do with this – lol)

Why would we go back to work? That will only increase others’ expectations of our abilities. Which will lead to more work. It’s a vicious cycle, don’t start it.
Rubbish leads to more rubbish, but there are fewer expectations.

the funny thing is that its actually true. If you overperform then next time more is expected and its very likely you will be underperforming even if you aren’t working less hard.
It is so true! I figure, give them low expectations of you.. and i learned this in school… right before the end of the semester do as well as you can and they give you a higher grade for improvement! (but dont be failing the whole semester…just not killing yourself)
