If you could describe yourself in one word what would it be?
April 14, 2015 5:40 pm at 5:40 pm #1209343doleofyouParticipantI pity anyone who can be summed up in one word.
April 14, 2015 5:48 pm at 5:48 pm #1209344🐵 ⌨ GamanitParticipanttroll
April 14, 2015 5:50 pm at 5:50 pm #1209345catch yourselfParticipantWith all due respect, I never understood this question, although I’ve been asked to do this many times at seminars and the like.
April 14, 2015 6:13 pm at 6:13 pm #1209346sirvoddmortMemberIn that case, pity me. My screen name is as close a description as I am willing to give, and that is one, solitary word.
April 14, 2015 7:45 pm at 7:45 pm #1209347👑RebYidd23ParticipantThat one word does not describe your whole being, so you are not being summed up in one word.
April 14, 2015 8:08 pm at 8:08 pm #1209348DikDukDuckParticipantUnsummable.
April 14, 2015 8:52 pm at 8:52 pm #1209349SayIDidIt™ParticipantMe.

April 14, 2015 8:55 pm at 8:55 pm #1209350Bookworm120Participant(So tempted to use a compound word here. :D)
Unique.
April 14, 2015 9:05 pm at 9:05 pm #1209351Letakein GirlParticipantHmm…
I think “trying” would work.
April 15, 2015 6:53 am at 6:53 am #1209352Little FroggieParticipantMe? Ridiculous!!
April 15, 2015 12:51 pm at 12:51 pm #1209353Yayin Yashan B’Kli ChadashParticipantThe exercise is not supposed to help you introduce yourself to others; as much as to introduce yourself to yourself. It raises self awareness when you have to think what your main essence is.
April 15, 2015 6:15 pm at 6:15 pm #1209354👑RebYidd23ParticipantWhat if you have multiple personalities?
April 15, 2015 6:29 pm at 6:29 pm #1209355Little FroggieParticipantRY, actually my first screen name describes me in one word (my mom agrees)!!
April 16, 2015 8:31 am at 8:31 am #1209356profound101ParticipantDifferent
April 16, 2015 2:44 pm at 2:44 pm #1209357oomisParticipantPolyfaceted.
April 17, 2015 5:05 pm at 5:05 pm #1209358mw13ParticipantDoesn’t listen to rules 😉
April 17, 2015 5:12 pm at 5:12 pm #1209359screwdriverdelightParticipantPolyfaceted isn’t a word to the best of my knowledge. Multifaceted is.
April 19, 2015 3:18 am at 3:18 am #1209360profound101Participantsdd: I beg to differ. This word may not exist on Wikipedia but it has been used in other places including scholarly peer reviewed articles.Just saying
April 19, 2015 2:37 pm at 2:37 pm #1209361Little FroggieParticipantThat’s her way of indicating she’s scholarly…
April 19, 2015 4:17 pm at 4:17 pm #1209362flatbusherParticipantMaybe one word each for personality and physical?
April 19, 2015 7:51 pm at 7:51 pm #1209363oomisParticipantI wanted to be creative and not use such a mundane expressions as multifaceted. And yes, poly-faceted IS a real word. It means the same as the other.
April 19, 2015 8:31 pm at 8:31 pm #1209364Little FroggieParticipant.. And creative too..
April 19, 2015 10:04 pm at 10:04 pm #1209365sirvoddmortMemberTo all the people who have reacted to this question by posting various words such as ‘Unsummable’ – DikDukDuck, ‘Polyfaceted’ – Oomis, ‘Different’ – Profound101, you all appear to have attempted to take the shortcut to profundity. Simply stating in a vague, quasi-esoteric fashion that one defies description does not ipso-facto make one profound, nor does stating what one is not describe what one is. Not that I mind, simply that if you disagree with the premise behind the question, then state you disagree, don’t allude to fallacy of the central aim of the OP with a nondescript, straight-out-of-the-textbook-on-self, non-word.
Rant. Over.
April 19, 2015 10:25 pm at 10:25 pm #1209366YesOrNoParticipantBeinoni
April 20, 2015 4:04 am at 4:04 am #1209367👑RebYidd23ParticipantBut what if a person’s identity is just a non-word? Is that person supposed to lie?
April 20, 2015 11:17 am at 11:17 am #1209368profound101Participantlittle froggie: I like how you assume I am female
sirvoddmort: you’re right, we are all too complex to be summed up in one word. That is what i don’t like about all such activities (e.g. describe yourself in one phrase, sentence, word etc.). Thank you for spelling it out for us(?).
April 20, 2015 12:30 pm at 12:30 pm #1209369Little FroggieParticipantprofound101:
Oops… I wasn’t referring to you, I was referring to Oomis (a Bubby is generally a female, unless otherwise indicated)

January 17, 2017 3:02 pm at 3:02 pm #1209371Little FroggieParticipantStill have not changed my mission statement noted above.
(do they actually keep every one of my NarishKites for posterity?!?)
January 17, 2017 7:14 pm at 7:14 pm #1209372Lilmod UlelamaidParticipantLF- yep, it’s to remind you of what’s awaiting you at 120. Except then it will include thoughts and deeds as well.
and btw, little froggie is two words 🙂
