Today so many of us remember loved ones, friends, commanders who fell in the line of duty for the sake of Am Yisrael in Eretz Yisrae.
I thought that I might share a personal Story:
Today I personally remember Commander Roi Farjun who fell on a shabbat in 2006 at Bekaot Checkpoint in Jordan Valley. I was one of the first response teams to arrive at the check point after Roi had been hit. He had stopped a suspicious Arab who then pulled out a small fire arm and shot Roi in between his vest.
It has been about 5 years, but the pain is still there, may Roi’s memory be for a blessing for his family and all Am Yisrael.
