Hi, I’m looking for a yeshiva, ideally in Eretz Yisroel, that is for a bochur who is frum and wants to shteig, but has a weak background in learning.
More specifically, the students at this potential yeshiva shouldn’t be the drinking & smoking type, while also offering programs for people who are still getting used to the gemara’s loshon.
Any ideas?

Without more detail as to your son’s background and aspirations, it’s hard to make any recommendations. Speak with rabbeim and mashpiim in your son’s mesivta or beis medrash for guidance. If you want to go outside of your son’s world, speak to the same people from similar mosdos to those you send to. There are so many amazing yeshivos. Don’t emphasize the “brand name” but rather look at the environment that will be best for your son. The difference between a yeshiva with active mashgichim and madrichim, and a yeshiva that leaves guys on their own is dramatic.

Publishing details online in a forum like this can be very damaging to different Yeshivas reputations. A good Yeshiva that is labeled in this forum as a Beis or Gimel Shiur Yeshiva can ruin its reputation, and cause other good boys who would benefit from the program not to join. (I am personally aware of a Yeshiva that was erroneously labeled by someone who thought they knew they were talking about” based on “their impressions” despite not knowing anyone who went there or having spoken with any Rabbeim but still felt like they were de’ah to publish inaccurate damaging report about a good mosad on the internet. While your question is well intended, the results can be catastrophic. I recommend speaking with your son’s current Yeshiva’s Rabbeim, or perhaps other parents who have similar profile children, or your shul Rov, etc. But to have it public on an online forum where anyone can read it even if it doesn’t pertain to them sounds unwise and dangerous.
Truthfully, I’m surprised the YWN moderators allowed the question to go through despite the avak lashon hara nature of the question.

Or maybe another good suggestion for a eretz Yisroel yeshiva would be yeshiva Lev AryehThere are other choices besides the one’s listed above but I suggest you do research on these 2 yeshivas and one of them might be the right one cause they are not both the same but actually totally different level yeshivas and if one is not the right level then hopefully the other one might be the correct fit for this bochur looking to shteig in Eretz Yisroel.
