Hi,
I work from home on the computer. But I find myself wasting time on the internet instead of working. Any good ideas to stay focused on what I am supposed to be doing? I would block internet access, but I need it for work.

Filter out the sites that distract you – you can even ask the mod on Guard Your Eyes to hold your password after you add the sites you don’t want to your k9 protection filter. I used to do just that (I had a problem with LH, MSR and kefira sites that I would waste too much time arguing) but somewhere along the line my K9 created a problem for me and I had to remove it. Most people won’t have the particular problem I had with K9 – it had to do with downloads on my particular Ukrainian ISP when it changed hands, hardly a worry for anyone else out there!

I see the rehab place taught you well! If at first you don’t succeed, quit trying before you get depressed!

At the end of your selected offline period, Freedom re-enables your network, restoring everything as normal.

June 2, 2009 4:08 pm at 4:08 pm #647112shalom in IsraelMemberA600kgBear – I had the same problem with K9 when I downloaded Internet Explorer 8. In the end I reverted to version 7 because my K9 is more important than the upgrade.
BTW – important note about K9. If you forget your password you can have it sent to your email address. If you think anyone else may be logging in and having it sent to your address when you aren’t around, do what I did. I set up a new email account with hotmail. Put this down as my email address, got the initial emails then deleted the account. This means that no-one can get into it. HOWEVER, one draw back is that it does not recognise hebrew, which means that occasionally things can get past it.
