That scares me.
August 4, 2011 4:56 pm at 4:56 pm #794499HealthParticipantThat she won’t have to fast or everyone?
I hope it’s true, I hate fasting. I’d rather party, if it’s a holiday.
August 4, 2011 5:03 pm at 5:03 pm #794500kylbdnrMemberwow me too…it sent a chill down my spine

August 4, 2011 5:38 pm at 5:38 pm #794501BitochonParticipantMy rebbe told me his son who is learning there now in kollel, told him its the big hock going around Israel.

August 4, 2011 5:54 pm at 5:54 pm #794503haifagirlParticipantDon’t we have these rumors every year? I hope this year it’s true.
August 4, 2011 5:57 pm at 5:57 pm #794504frumeyidParticipantHmmm… Who is the reliable source?
August 4, 2011 5:58 pm at 5:58 pm #794505EMSMemberNext year we won’t fast on Tisha b’Av
August 4, 2011 6:01 pm at 6:01 pm #794506600 Kilo BearMemberAnother dangerous story. Please don’t circulate these baabamaaises. They are no credit to anyone and just make us look like fools.
I heard Rabin spoke to his daughter in a dream and told her that this year was the last yom haatzamois because next year the Jewish state will come to an end. I also heard that Sam, who told the Son of Sam what to do, came to Yehuda Levin in a dream and said that there will be a 10-strength earthquake in NY because of the toeva marriage law.
August 4, 2011 6:01 pm at 6:01 pm #794507HealthParticipantBitochon – Any excuse not to fast.
Achakeh Lo Bchol Yom etc…
I’d faster believe if s/o would say -if everyone has a proper Tisha B’av and does Richter Teshuva then next year Tisha B’av will be a Yom Tov. This IMO is one of the Soton’s tricks – so people will say why should I try and improve- Moshiach is coming anyway.
August 4, 2011 6:20 pm at 6:20 pm #794508chocandpatienceMemberThere was a story going ’round in Israel some time ago. Roughly went like this:
A driver lost his way and was about to enter (unknowingly) a dangerous Arab village. Suddenly four holy looking people dressed in white appeared to direct them, thus saving their lives.
They went to a mekubal (don’t remember who) who told them that three were Avraham, Yitzchak and Yaakov. The fourth, he refused to reveal.
Sounds good, doesn’t it.
The story was being told over on a bus and the driver laughed. He had invented the story with a friend and they had had a bet to see how long it would take the story to get told back to them.
August 4, 2011 6:21 pm at 6:21 pm #794509BitochonParticipant@ Health
just the opposite I wanna do teshuva before Moshiach comes.
Hashem is one his name will be one on that day!
August 4, 2011 6:26 pm at 6:26 pm #794510ronrsrMemberThis sort of hearsay is only harmful and spreads terribly fast.
A lie is halfway ’round the world before truth has a chance to put its pants on.
August 4, 2011 6:50 pm at 6:50 pm #794511EmmyAMemberronrsr- Those who know don’t say. Those who say don’t know.
I agree with that 100%!!
August 4, 2011 7:46 pm at 7:46 pm #794512quark2Memberi’m not getting excited. This has to be at least the eighth time in my life that i have heard something like this. but nothing happened.
August 4, 2011 7:55 pm at 7:55 pm #794513apushatayidParticipantWhy doesnt someone ask the Rebbetzin.
August 4, 2011 7:58 pm at 7:58 pm #794514BitochonParticipantHow do I close this thread it did not turn out how planned.
August 4, 2011 8:00 pm at 8:00 pm #794515Grubber YungMemberto all those who think these stories strengthen emuna, suffice it to say that anyone who believes this story, never had any difficulties in emuna to begin with. And those who have real nisyonos in emuna cannot find solace in such tall tales.
August 4, 2011 8:21 pm at 8:21 pm #794516apushatayidParticipantWhat were your plans?
August 4, 2011 8:36 pm at 8:36 pm #794517HaLeiViParticipantIf Tish’a B’av came before the three weeks, this year, then hopefully, Tu B’av will come before Tish’a B’av.
August 4, 2011 8:53 pm at 8:53 pm #794518ronrsrMemberAmen, Halevi.
August 4, 2011 8:54 pm at 8:54 pm #794519inspiredteenMemberWe all have somewhere to get or something to do in order to bring Moshiach one step closer. Moshaich can come any day – we have to keep trying to become better people. It is really possible for Tisha Bav to be a Yom Tov this year – we have to work hard and deserve it.
August 4, 2011 9:06 pm at 9:06 pm #794520BitochonParticipantTeshuva & getting ready… wat are u doing?

If you had true Bitachon you wouldn’t need such stories…
August 5, 2011 2:13 am at 2:13 am #794523bombmaniacParticipantagreed…if you need baba alazar’s wife to give you emuna then you have problems
August 5, 2011 8:15 am at 8:15 am #794524jmj613Participantbomb sorry to say but all can be a source for emuna even rabbi elazars wife. why is it that when one goes to hospital or hears stories about sick children or mothers etc that you then realize theres noone to base onself only on hashem himself…so for some ppl other stuff do the same. i personally dont believe the story but if ppl want to and will strengthen anything by them let them be.
August 5, 2011 2:12 pm at 2:12 pm #794526BitochonParticipantjmj613
