    Someone I know got engaged to a guy from a family called Price. I wanted my wife to set up a date for his brother with a girl we know called Fisher only so that it would be a magical Fisher Price wedding!

    When we moved to Lakewood 15 years ago (and moved out 14 11/12th years ago) we met a woman in a supermarket who introduced herself using a fairly common English name. My wife said she was surprised to meet a frum lady in Lakewood who goes by an English name. The woman replied: “My birth name is Gnendl Kraindl.” We all nodded our understanding.
