(hey, that’s not the way it’s supposed to go!)

If they’re going to gxxxxxm anyway, why suffer here?

I believe it’s the same reason why good people have bad things happen to them; to wake them up and give them a chance to change. So when they’re down there they won’t have any taanos on why they are there.

It’s the same reason Beis Din punishes, for the sake of the rest of us. To show that Yesh Din Veyesh Dayan. It is hard to grasp why some get something here and some don’t, but it is all about establishing the Malchus of HKBH on this world.

Titus got something, a token of recognition that Hashem is here and is aware and is able to punish. It was not his punishment for his crimes. Carpet-chewer got away with it, although his country did suffer. Obviously, that was deemed sufficient to show how ultimately light will prevail over darkness.

After all is said and done, we can’t and won’t understand G-d’s ways. His wisdom and understanding is something we can’t fathom.

I do not know — in many ways I am a sinner who suffers depression and moderate hardships. Thank G-d I never had severe suffering. Thank G-d.

Unfortunately the vast majority of Jews who have been raised in non-observant environment are unable and unwilling to accept complete observance. According to Pew report, 84% of Jews in USA believe in G-d, but only 15% fulfill all the Laws. Thus, 70% of Jews like myself understand the importance of the Law, yet give in to our animal soul.

Thus, most of my suffering and most of suffering in this world is earned.

The question is why do you sometimes find a Rasha and its good for him. Its not a question if he has bad things happening to him. Thats how it should be! He deserves bad here and in Gehennom! You don’t get good things on this world (and certainly not in the next world) unless you did something good to deserve it.

seems you missed my “(hey, that’s not the way it’s supposed to go!)”

    ??? ?????? – no duck.

But anyways HaShem created THIS WORLD too, for his creatures to enjoy. ??? ???? ?????. No, no one DESERVES it, it’s just the way HaShem wanted things to be.

Thank G-d! Today G-d saved me from an accident — I could have lost my eye.

Many of us deserve much more suffering then we get. But we still complain.
