As I’m sure many have heard or seen Neturai Karat as a protest over OSEM (snack food) teaming up with the Jewish National Fund to support theconstruction of a Rec Center for kids in Serdot, burnt some of their yummy snacks…
With so many going hungry, I have a hard time with this form of protest…seems like a terrible waste of food…

i actually have seen a lot of positive come from netureei karta with my own eyes i have read many letters from muslims and pro palestinians sent to NK where they tell how they hated all jews and would spit on the street every time they would see one, and after seeing or attending anti zionist rallies and seeing orthodox jews sympathising with them they realized that not all jews are evil and they are much more favourably disposed of jews now- instead of spewing out hatred at members of klal yisroel whether or not you agree with them, how about researching and finding out exactly how much good they are actually doing for the yiden! they are definatly lessening the anti semitism in the world that is a fact- and you just shout at them?

They always have to make a chlul Hashem!!! Whatever they do has to be in public and not stam they call all media to make sure the world sees! And we shouldn’t buy to support well how did they get so many cases to burn if not buying it. Duh!
When you go to the Nuteri karta website there is an option to view the website in Arabic. Makes you wonder where their monetary support is coming from.
I think Neturei Karte do have valid points sometimes. It’s just the way they attempt to get it across is way too extreme!!!!

Just curious, Mike, how could you open a thread blasting another group after all we’ve gone through these couple of weeks? Shouldn’t we be looking for ways to come together?
FTR, I hate NK, but I thought I’d point out that it’s easy to say let’s all come together – on my terms.
mikehall- i guess when you really have nothing to say you laugh…in any case im glad i made you laugh but really its not a joke- listen this is not the place to argue about the pros and cons of NT but like daasYochid said, why bash other yiden especially if you dont know their motives etc..
I’d like to thank the Neturei Karta for their generous donation to the JNF through the purchase of specially marked bags of Osem products. Their generous gift will go a long way to building a bombproof recreation center for the children of Sderot. May they be zocheh to contribute further to the building of the land of Israel.

skiaddict you should know from skiing that if you see a ‘heap’ in front of you then you must avoid it by going round it and coming out the other side of it. How? It sounded reasonable and thought out. You’d have to have previous disagreement with this approach to find fault, but it’s consistent with NK’s worldview. I see no additional justification here to disagree.
