It does matter – therefore the blame lies with Hillary!

So it will be Hillary or Trump!

“Mostly truthful” – she made 10 million statements in her life and 5 million + 1 were truthful (and those 5 million + 1 include correctly stating her name, stating that Chelsea is her daughter, etc.).

From a recent piece by Maureen Dowd titled “Donald the Dove, Hillary the Hawk”:

Just as Barack Obama seemed the more feminized candidate in 2008 because of his talk-it-out management style, his antiwar platform and his delicate eating habits, always watching his figure, so now, in some ways, Trump seems less macho than Hillary.

The prime example of commander-in-chief judgment Trump offers is the fact that, like Obama, he thought the invasion of Iraq was a stupid idea.

He can sound belligerent, of course, saying that he would bomb the expletive-deleted out of ISIS and that he would think up new and imaginative ways to torture terrorists and kill their families.

But he says that in most cases he would rather do the art of the deal than shock and awe.

You can actually envision a foreign policy debate between Trump and Clinton that sounds oddly like the one Obama and Clinton had in 2008, with Trump playing Obama, preening about his good judgment on Iraq, wanting an end to nation-building and thinking he could have a reset with Russia.

CHARLES KRAUTHAMMER: Of course it makes him look at if he cares more about a personal vendetta than he does about the party or the ideas he espouses. As if he is, he is, that’s the point. He’s revealing who he is. This isn’t some gaffe or accident. If it were something he threw off, and then realizes he was a little over the time, he had ample opportunity over the weekend to retract, to move away. Instead he doubled down. He widened the net of sort of non-Americans or people who aren’t impartial because of their ethnicity beyond Mexican-Americans to now include Muslim.

This isn’t a guy who has made a false step, of course he did. But the larger point is, he’s revealing who he is. It is not just that those who have now decided to throw in and support him for party unity or whatever reasons have made a tactical mistake in getting behind him. They have to ask themselves, morally, is this the man you want to be the leader of your party? That’s what’s at stake here. That’s why it’s a bigger issue.

    From Politico:

By the end of the day, Trump had issued a new statement blaming the media for his problems, without apologizing to the Indiana-born federal judge, Gonzalo Curiel, who is presiding over lawsuits against Trump University. Trump then declared he was done commenting on the matter.

But the damage was already done.

Kirk’s statement could hardly have been more pointed had it been written by a Democrat.

Kirk later told reporters that he would write in former Gen. David Petraeus as his choice for president.

It was a stunning repudiation of the party’s nominee by a sitting senator, and one that shows just how much of a liability some in the GOP believe Trump has become. These denizens of the “Republican establishment” were raised on the idea of party unity and loyalty: You back your guy no matter what. But Trump is straining that loyalty to the breaking point for many Republicans, and beyond for some.

“Claiming a person can’t do their job because of their race is sort of like the textbook definition of a racist comment,” Ryan said during a news conference to unveil the new Republican anti-poverty plan. “If you say something that’s wrong, I think the mature and responsible thing is to acknowledge it.”

But then a Trump surrogate bizarrely accused Ryan of being a racist himself, a perfect example of the circus that surrounds the Republican nominee.

[Mitch] McConnell is playing this. These people have run and hid and borrowed the Democratic agenda of playing the race card.”

We need a conservative to run as an independent. That person could actually win. I really don’t get why neither Kasich nor Romney will do it. Romney would have a real shot at this election. I don’t get why he keeps on refusing it.

Sam, the most an independent can do is throw the election into the House. All that has been written about Trump is true but Clinton is just as bad. She was fired from the Watergate committee staff for unethical behavior, participated in the Whitewater fraud, caused the deaths of American diplomats and laughed about getting a rapist off scot-free by taking advantage of a prosecutor’s error (which may have been a breach of attorney-client privilege). However, Trump is in favor of building settlements and his adviser on Israel is a frum Jew who heads the American Friends of the Bet-el Yeshiva. That makes him our bum (to paraphrase FDR’s comment about Somoza).

Each candidate has their flaws. I think what is going to happen is that before the convention Hillary will be indited in the email server investigation and replaced by Bidden who will unify the Democratic Party and win the election

Following the Florida Shovu’os massacre, clearly President Donald Trump is so correct to frame Moslems. This mass murderer had been eyed by the authorities, but because of political correctness, was free to roam the streets & murder 50 people.

147, you should learn American slang before you use it. “Frame” means to cause an innocent person to be blamed for a crime.

147, Trump has only (so far) suggested banning Muslims from entering the country; but the Orlando terrorist was born and bred here in the US, so Trump’s plans wouldn’t have stopped him anyways.

So then what’s the difference that Trump’s plan wouldn’t have stopped him because he was born here, that you pointed out? Even if he had been a Muslim born in Afghanistan Trump’s plan wouldn’t have stopped him — because Trump’s plan wouldn’t go back in time.

A brief (mo-29, just for you;) snippet from:

    Trump’s terrorism address, fact-checked

    By Louis Nelson

Donald Trump sharply criticized Hillary Clinton and President Barack Obama on Monday, saying their incompetent immigration and national security policies allowed attacks like the mass killing in Orlando and claiming that, barring a change in course, terrorists would leave Americans “without our country.”

But while some of Trump’s statements were accurate, many were based on a stretch of, or outright disregard for, the facts at hand.

Trump’s most prominent stretch is linking the attack to immigration, given that the shooter, Omar Mateen, was a native-born U.S. citizen. Even if one stretches blame to the decision to allow Mateen’s parents to enter the U.S., that was decades before Obama took office or Clinton held her post at the head of the State Department.

Trump’s flirtation with fiction went further Monday. Here’s what he said in his address that passes factual muster, and what falls short.

No gray area here: Omar Mateen was born in New York City 29 years ago.

    The Thesaurus Problem

I used to think that Hitlerism and Fascism could never find a home in America because, unlike Germany, America does not have a history of aggression and militarism. But with the dehumanizing elements of society now crawling out from under the rocks and being legitimized, one can no longer be sanguine. Ten million people have voted for him in the primaries. Not all of them are noxious, but millions clearly are.

Look at the way they both have treated the people under them.

I watched the video posted on YWN from the former secret service agent.

    1. Donald Trump is America’s Howard Beale moment.

    2. Far more likely that Trump will learn to be “Presidential” than that Hillary Clinton will be honest.

    3. Trump’s biggest fault is that he’s not a professional politician. Haven’t we had enough of those?

It seems to me that bashing Trump , as some unspeakable horror has become very stylish among the elite writers in our circles (anash).I respectfully differ. While I fully understand that Trump can come off as an arrogant, uncouth, and ignorant man,I still believe there’s a great heart and significant intellect behind the personna being projected.I think it took great courage to address the Islamic problem currently infesting our planet. All the issues he currently addresses are valid!Hopefully he’ll hire the best people he can for resolution of these problems. The alternative is a vicious, murderous, lying sociopath, with zero concience ,moral compass or any compassion for her fellow man(or woman).
