Just posting the following, to keep in mind.
Besides for the rightful skepticism you use when reading posts on the CR, people may think when they post for advice, review, or a referral, concerning a product/service, that there is less reason for an untruthful reply.
But that cannot be farther from the truth.
Many companies, businesses, and other goods/service provider have an email alert tool. When their name shows up anywhere on the web, they are alerted by email to that link. This enables them to respond blogs with a poor-review or anything about them, and sometimes they reply in the guise of another reviewer.
So be especially suspicious when their membership is 1 day old.

Don’t compare professional websites to forums. Yes on forums you can’t trust most of what you read however on professional websites theres lots of good info. You need to know what’s a good source but there are certainly many places online to get trustworthy info on any topic.

April 2, 2014 8:15 am at 8:15 am #1066618sm29Participantusually people need to use their seichel and common sense. Things can get pretty fishy on the net, especially when there’s many fish in the net

April 2, 2014 7:14 pm at 7:14 pm #1066623👑RebYidd23Participant“It” does not imply no gender. “It” means something that has no thoughts of its own.
April 2, 2014 11:52 pm at 11:52 pm #1066624RandomexMemberPlease source your statement, Rebyidd23. I’ve never heard of such a thing.

April 3, 2014 1:49 am at 1:49 am #1066626I. M. ShluffinParticipant@crazybrit: that’s my goal, yes.
@randomex: rebyidd was correct about the first part, i think. “It” is not gender-specific. L’mashal: “It is a dog” – It could be a girl dog or a boy dog. “It’ could be a gender, in many sentences. Not sure about the second idea, that an it has no thoughts.April 3, 2014 12:35 pm at 12:35 pm #1066627no longer need seminaryMemberthis name is already taken- do you forgive me for being so blunt? i mean these posts are hilarious!!
