The mods are accusing me of being Joseph, who else thinks I am, and who’s going to back me and that knows that I’m not Joseph.
They are not. They’re allowed to kid around just like we do.

when i typed in real-brisker to check your profile I found the header saying “see I told you so” then i put it as 1 word and you came up. There must be some confusion b/c I remember your subtitle as “that’s Brisk Baby” or you really are using a second name like your post with pac-man pac/man pac man
I don’t know who or why they say it’s you because the mods aren’t speaking out
I can’t say I know that you’re not Joseph, but I would be shocked. Your styles are quite different. I’ve usually picked up on Joseph’s new aliases pretty quickly, and your style does not fit.

How would we know whether or not you are Joseph? This is an anonymous site and the only ones that are privy to our email addresses or IP numbers are the mods. Also, I for one, don’t care whether or not you are Joseph.

Once in a lifetime everyone must go through a Joseph stage. Are they editing or deleting most of what you post? If not, they don’t think you are Joseph.
I don’t get the point. Why is everyone so obsessed with Joseph here? I suppose he was banned – I missed that part of the story. But I just don’t see the point. Some people here are more obsessed with finding (and seeing) Joseph in every corner of the CR, than some Yerushalmi Rebbes are in burning iPhones. And that is quite a high level of zealousness.

i think its a bandwagon thing.
now that a poster sees how everyone is criticizing joseph, its easy to do so yourself, without fear of one being considered rude.
you are not joseph but i would not be shocked if i found out that he was a nice calm even-tempered poster also. jos logs in sometimes under pac man to post something sharp like he tends to but when he wants to agree with ppl he posts under a diff name…..
Besides the fact that real-brisker has a very different style than Joseph, I don’t ever recall Joseph protesting so vehemently (except when it wasn’t him, like in the HaleiVi case).

I don’t think your Joseph. I suspected it a few times but I realized that as much as I disagree with you on just about everything and as much as you agree with him, you post coherently and civilly which is a dead giveaway.

Pac-Man doesn’t know. He’s not Joseph, but is quite amused to be thought that he is. Besides, you can’t fight City Hall.

if it makes a difference, i also vote that you’re NOT joseph or pacman or clairvoyant or grandmaster or….
At first I was blocked without an explanation and figured it was a computer error, since they had absolutely no content-related reason to believe I was him. After trying to email and being ignored I created the RuffRuff account. Then, that was blocked along with a subtitle of “Joseph again”.
At that point I realized what the issue must be. I used OperaMini on my phone as my browser. This app tries to save data cost by rerouting every request to their server and downsizing the response. YeshivaWorld gets the IP of Opera instead of mine. Anyone using the same app would appear to be coming from the same IP.
Therefore, I emailed and posted this fact, which got deleted, and another member posted that they know me personally, and contacted the mods as well. After a little while they figured it out, either on their own or through my advice. They never told me which.
But like I wrote earlier, Joseph seems to get special treatment. So, if your comments don’t get chopped up and manipulated, they don’t really think you are he.

Interesting. I use an internet provider which employs a proxy as a filter. I wonder if anyone using the same company comes up under the same IP.

Then it’s an issue with the provider (you don’t know me, AFAIK).
If you could, please change r-b’s subtitle back – I’m convinced that it’s a similar issue, and he seems pretty disturbed by it.
