Its January already and we haven’t had one good snow storm yet.(the one in October doesn’t count cuz it was slush) I’m beginning to wonder if we’ll get one at all.

I don’t know of any working people that like snow. It just makes a mess of everything and makes you late to work.

I love snow… I wish we would get some heavy snow. So far this is one of the most boring winters ever.
But what good is snow when you don’t have the $$$ to go skiing somewhere (other than maybe a day in Scotland). Well, some snow would be fun regardless.

(I HATE SNOW). Just remember all you snow bunnies, someday you too will have arthritis or osteoporosis in the hips and/or knees, and you will be MISERABLE when it snows, unless you move to sunnier climes.

Luv the snow it brings tranquility to the world, the white seameles spread with nothing dark in sight, that’s till the cars make all that muddy slush. I work too and enjoy the change in schedule from time to time coming late and all I think its healthy for the mind and soul.
so not fair there isnt snow this year…we have to remind mother nature that it is February..

Does the arthritis only cause its misery when the sufferer goes outdoors? Is it the cold or the actual snow?
Snow is just like my mother in law. It only comes for an hour or two but causes me problems for days…

Well, for all you ‘snowies’- Lakewood got a sprinkle last night. Not enough to count as real snow but it’s better than nothing 🙂
Yay, winter is arriving here starting this weekend! Temperatures dropping from 10 celsius to around 1-2 celsius, at night -1. Maybe there will be a real winter after all!

Here in the Shomron I’ve been told that it has not snowed on our yishuv for the past 9 or 10 tears. I don’t miss it one bit.

I live the snow too. I think its a great ideato have a day off in middle of nowhere and the kids have such a good time.
Everyone needs a vacation and this provides us and the kids with it.
I know some people get stuck in their houses and its dangerous for the elderly, but its still something i enjoy!

i dont pity her for livving in E”Y but i feel bad for those who dont get to enjoy the wonderful briah of snow. I really think that when it snows everything looks like a fairy land and its a time to realize how beautiful our world is. Yes, even in middle of New York City.
Now its bitter cold here and when it will finally precipitate on mon-tues. it will be warm again.
