Not where you live right now or what’s your birthplace or that of your parents, but where your family originates from. Russia? Poland? Ukraine? Morocco? Syria? etc…
I guess most of you are from Eastern-Europe.

The other three are all polish and survied the war in different ways! My great great great grandfather lived in Galicia and was the Beis Ephraim (Rav Ephraim Zalman Margolis)

Did you read that article in the zman before pesach about the rabbi from iran? It sounded not true cuz if you reasearch it a little u see the chief rabbi was someone else. Can you verify for us who the rabbis were?
(lost my trust in zman article, honestly im prob not the only one)
