As I mentioned in another thread, my third birthday just passed. I am now looking back at where I was when I first joined the CR. When I joined I was a 15 year old who had dropped out of high school. All I did was sit on the computer, so the CR was the perfect place. Since then I have been on and off in the CR but still moving forward in life. I spent time in yeshiva in E”Y for a bit, and now I have a full time job which I love. Where were you at back when you joined?

Ever since…
I was a 49 year old living in my mothers half of my grandmothers basement. My rock band was just taking off and we had just booked our first big hit. Since then, we are still just booked our first big hit next month.
I was a tenth grade shnook who was bored.
Now I’m a twelfth grade shnook who’s stressed and bored at the same time. Difficult feat, but I seem to have managed it.
My second birthday is in less than a month!
I was in E’Y in seminary. I acctualy only found out about this because my sem used YWN to keep us posted on the war of rockets with Hamas in Gaza. So I checked out the website and BAM the CR aka the best place!!
My parents are always on YWN, one day I saw something titled ‘Coffee Room’ and the rest is history! Actually 1 year and a half ago, I didnt have a social life, not knowing hebrew yet. B”H THAT is over!
