Most of the “Halachos” of Sefira are actually Minhagim, and (my informal survay says that) most people don’t follow the M”B for Minhagim.
Dash: True, but there is no reason whatsoever to be Mechalek in this Minhag between night 33 and day 33. Especially because, as far as I know, no one would get a haircut or shave tonight.
i am sure moshe would agree with me that the purpose of lag BA omer isn’t to go places but to devote one self to Torah learning
