    Hi Im plannaing a vacation for this summer. does anyone know when all the yeshivos in lakewood/brooklyn start next year so i can plan my trip accordingly? Thanks in advance

    For safety, consider all bais bemdrash yeshivas & above to be starting rosh chodesh elul which this year comes out to be September 4th while mesivtas may start 10 or more days later

    Ellul 1st is Sunday Erev Labor Day, so this year, Ellul Zeman shan’t be clashing with Americanized summer save perhaps for 1 day or so of overlap. …… Very different Scenario from 2021 when Labor day shall be Erev Rosh haShono as happened in 1994, or from 2032 when Labor Day shall be 1st day of Rosh haShono which hasn’t happened since 1964.
