I work in a office and at times it gets very boring. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas for me? like some good jewish websites to keep me busy with.
Thanks for your help.

After all that is what you get paid for “to work” and not to play. However, if the boss says he/she doesn’t mind that you search the web on his/her time then I would suggest you do some research about your job that could be useful to move upward, playing some mind challenging games to exercise your brain or read a book.

regards to the person being paid by the boss to WORK and not play. Apparently the mods found my somewhat tongue-in-cheek reply to be offensive, as they pulled it almost as soon as they posted it. I guess you were more diplomatic than I. Kol Hakavod.
It’s not a matter of diplomacy. It’s a matter of outright condemning someone’s actions when you have no idea of the relevant situation, versus making suggestions.

Actually now that I think about it, I know of two people from my place who did that and a third one who came already with such knowledge but increase his value through expoerience and learning and went out on his own and now makes at least 3 times what he made, at his old job in the place where I still work.
There are many ways of learning to adcvance your career even if you want to change careers thare are many ways to learn online so your time is not wasted just sitting around or playing games.
Then of course there are websites to study Torah on, as well.
It reminds me of something I heard when I was in yeshivah about a gadol who was asked how he became so great and he responded “in 3 minutes”, which he explained was the 3 minutes waiting in line or waiting while a simcha started or anytime he had a ‘free’ minute he got in just a bit more learning and he had done this in yeshivah inbetween shiruim while others were relaxing and taking it easy.
