    They went OTD. They were kohanim that took over the kingship, which was designated for the tribe of Yehudah.

    200 years? The misyavnim were back in power, running the beis hamikdash within 20 years with a new minyavni kohen gadol buying the position each year as his predecessor didnt survive yom kippur.
