January 7, 2010 6:31 pm at 6:31 pm #673630akiva gParticipantthis is a direct quote from a kolhaloshon moderator in america “Kol Haloshon EY runs the website and they shut it down because of a kol koreh against chareidi web sites” no other info you van email [email protected] and/or [email protected] to find out more details if i know more i will pass it on. in the meantime you might want to post this info in the yeshiva world news. kol tuv.
January 8, 2010 7:46 am at 7:46 am #673632amatzevParticipantI e-mailed them and was answered that they are waiting for a hechsher from the rabbonim. My suggestion: they should ask american rabbonim
January 8, 2010 9:53 am at 9:53 am #673633david_inukMemberI have it on good authority that people are working hard to have it re-instated. I know of one rather high profile name that I believe is on side, and I am sure there will be more.
B’ezras Hashem, common sense will prevail.

January 12, 2010 4:52 pm at 4:52 pm #673634david_inukMemberHas anybody got the following file on their computer?
Tora_ATM_Web_Full.exe
It’s the installation file for their program to download things from their website. Seeing as they still need to leave some sort of connection available for the various “kiosks” in Bottei Midrash to update themselves, that program might still work.
If anybody has got it, please test it for the klal and let us know if it works!!!
January 12, 2010 6:59 pm at 6:59 pm #673635YW Moderator-80MemberI have it. It no longer works

“access to the FTP site will gain you nothing. The files there are in special format suitable only for the kiosks updates”
