Mugagug – whiskey, honey and lemon juice in equal amounts.

Only one tablespoon though. Usually less.

Is this for Havdalah? then make havdalah on Lipton.

If you mean in general, then drink tea with honey and lemon juice, have leftover chicken soup, some vitamin C, and just a lot of fluids.

JUST LEAVE MOTZEI SHABBOS OUT OF THIS, WILL YA

I used to hate tea.. Hate hate hate. Until I had strep last year and it was the only thing I could get down my throat. Now I love it. Peppermint or green with a drop of honey.

That’s not what he means by mixing drinks. He means mixing different types of alcohol. But, I don’t believe that it is bad.

I woke up with a cold shabbos morning and it was arctic weather in Brookline.

Several shots of scotch, whiskey, and a few bowls of cholent at shul remedied the matzav fast, followed by a quick motzi and bowl of soup and bentching at home and a nice shabbos shluff.

That sounds like a pretty successful shabbos if you ask me. Where did you daven shabbos morning that had such fine scotch, whiskey, and bowls of cholent?

The minyan at Maimonides School in Brookline, where R’ Soloveitchik was rosh yeshiva, had a bat mitzvah and the family sponsored a huge kiddush with Johnnie Walker, Glenlivet, etc. and lots of cholent and kugel and even these teriyaki beef skewers.

I like davening at Ramat Orah on the UWS partly because 3 of my rebbeim/friends daven there, and mostly due to their famous kiddush with a huge assortment of scotch, and at least 4 different kinds of cholent and kugel.
