I use mine generally for offers and coupons and very rarely as a communication tool. My e-mail is also hooked up to my PayPal and eBay accounts.

    E-mail, genius.

Why, what do you do, build snowmen or something?

I use email to build snowmen and slice bread. Teenagers should be building snowmen and slicing bread so that’s fine as long as they aren’t socializing.

Work, fun, I oppose teens using email, and of course it is dangerous, you can get carpal tunnel syndrome.

Email is very dangerous. I know someone who emailed her mother, and her mother emailed her back. She never got over it.

Communicate for work related issues, send and receive family pictures.

I don’t oppose occassional, supervised use by teens.

My wife and I see each others’ emails, which greatly reduces any danger.

I think its fine for teenagers to have email as long as you trust them.

Neea, I like what you wrote. I have never before read anything here about trusting teens. They are usually treated as babies and given no freedom to make decisions or act on their own even though most people here expect them to get married in the blink of an eye.
