Can someone give me information about Waterbury yeshiva – high school and Beis Medrash? What types of boys? What yeshivos do they go to in Israel? Do most end up in college?

    Thanks

I can’t answer all of your questions but if it helps, all of the bochurim I know who go there are involved in HASC & Camp Simcha and they are very active in kiruv. I think the zman starts late to give the boys a chance to work in camps.

All good boys with fine middos There are many learning boys and many learner earner types as well it is a good mix.Think of chofetz chaim ner yisrael some yeshivish and some others more wordly all the boys they produce seem very nice. They also have a benefit of being surrounded by a nice heimish community who they interact with during their formative years.

    so right,

    nice pun.

why is it good for a yeshiva to move to the right? there needs to be yeshivas for all types.

Personally I dont like hearing this yeshiva has changed from Y to X or decided to be better so it threw out 15 guys. I think less of a yeshiva after hearing that.

I’m not saying I now think less of a yeshiva I dont know about, I’m talking (typing) in general terms.
