But Wikileaks gets a lot of the credit for making the corruption visible to all the naive folks out there. Unfortunately some of the things they post are irrelevant and private nonsense.
And that doesn’t make Donald Trump a tzaddik, it just makes him lucky. If Putin or Russia had any hand in all of the leaks we are in even worse shape though.

DY: I have no idea if I have time to be back. But I saw a “Frum” Jew defend David Duke on election day. I actually had to go somewhere to vomit after that. Politics (misery) may make strange bedfellows, but this was far too much for me.
Actually the biggest threat to “destroy” the country is the switch from “free trade” to a high tariff policy, which in fact both major parties have no switched to, as well as many “populist” movements in Europe. In the 1990s both parties favored free trade, and at present only “old fashioned” Republicans and Libertarians do.
I think most frum Jewish supporters of Trump have convinced themselves that David Duke and the alt-right are just mistaken in their belief that Trump is on their side.

I do not think he is on their side. However I do think that he is deliberately not trying hard to disabuse them of their notion. In addition, the very fact that they believe it and are emboldened by his victory disgusts me.
He directly denounced Duke.
The KKK announced on their website that they are having a victory parade in NC in December.
The Black Panther terrorists did a victory lap with Obama’s election.

He did after some pressure and in a tepid enough manner that Duke and his chevra believed that the denouncement was just empty words to please the media and Republicans.

Trump brushes off David Duke support

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump on Friday disavowed a former Ku Klux Klan leader’s support.
“I didn’t even know he endorsed me,” Trump said while unveiling an endorsement from New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, when asked about former KKK grand wizard David Duke’s support.
“David Duke endorsed me? OK, alright. I disavow, OK?” Trump said, seeking to quickly move on to another question.
