But much more powerful to turn directly to Hashem from your heart wholeheartedly for help in whatever you need from shidduchim to parnassah to children etc….. As we say daily 3 times karov Hashem….. In Ashrei which means Hashem is close to all who call out to Hashem WHOLEHEARTEDLY (and not just from reading a siddur or tehillim etc..)
Huh??? You make it sound like a tourist with limited time going on TripAdvisor and searching for the
“10 Top Sites in Yenavelt”. There are plenty of gadolim at home (if you are coming from the U.S.) so you don’t have to go shopping for barachos and segulahs in EY. More to the point, as Yungermans notes, just try a direct visit with the Ebeshter and forego the intermediaries.
There is an old lady by the Kosel who dispenses brachos in exchange for tzedaka, I’ve seen many people have crazy things happen after being blessed by this woman. One story I can relate first hand is that apparently the intensity of the bracha she gives you is directly correlated to the amount of money you give her. One of my friends only had a shekel on him so she told him “you should have a nice day”. And he did!!!
