Last year there was a heave PR campaign for the Vhaarev Na learning program. Can somewhat explain what it’s about? It’s not exactly a chiddush how important chazarah is. What makes this program so special/innovative?
Or is it just a lot of noise about something which is obvious (the importance of chazarah), not that that is a bad idea!

G613, the website doesn’t really explain what the program is, it just says that it’s focused on chazarah.

Right away, every day you have to chaser that days gemara three times. For Shabbos and Bein Hazmanim there’s a big “kiddush” with food, and each bachur makes a kabala how much he’s going to learn. Also, every once in a while there’s a retzufas seder (chazering for a certain amount of time straight).

He spent the last year in Israel and returned 2 days ago for Peach. He is now spending his days off learning with Rabbi Dovid Newman of Shaarei Torah who ran the very successful program here in Monsey. In my opinion, that is enough to say that it works, but no need to take my word for it. Anyone who wants to know anything about the program can just ask and I will give you my sons number and you can call him yourself.
