Upsherin in Meron

I am taking my son for his Upsherin to Meron in a few weeks.

I heard that there are people who travel from Chutz L’Artetz all the time for this ceremony.

Can anyone who ever did this please relate their experience?

Did you go alone?

Where did do you take your son for Cheder Feeren (where the rebbe says the Aleph Bet with the newly yarlmuka-clad child)?

Do they have a service for the out of towners where they prepare something in advance?

Were you able to get into any Gedolim on that day for Brochos?

I have nobody to ask, so I am asking here and I hope I’ll learn something informative from your experience.
