I would like part of my tzedaka money to go to organizations in Eretz Yisroel, but would like for it to be tax deductible in America. So I am looking for things like “American Friends of Magen David Adom”, where you send a check to a US address, but it helps in Eretz Yisroel. Does anyone know more (preferably frum) organizations like this?
Why don’t you contact the organizations you want to support? Many have US offices and will be happy to assist you in getting an IRS approved receipt.
Google for “Olam HaTorah” or “Torah Index”. They list hundreds of institutions they have checked out. You can easily search thier site for say “American Friends”
