But the Cleanest thing I can think of is the Circle Line which is a 3 hour Boat Ride around Manhattan

🙂
next time i travel to NY I want to take my family to the Living Torah Museum. Haven’t been there yet, but heard it’s terrific.

I think it’s clean I’m not sure someone else can speak up but I found it to be completely acceptable. The wax museum in time square is also a lot of fun. Good luck!

Any Shiur ideas (separate seating) for a couple?
June 5, 2012 3:42 am at 3:42 am #878511147ParticipantRav Avigdor Miller’s grandson, Rav Eliyohu Brog gives a Shiur every Thursday evening & Shabbos afternoon, with separate seating for men & women. His Shoule is on Ocean Parkway just south of Avenue R.
It is gratis.
June 5, 2012 3:52 am at 3:52 am #878512Dont Worry Be HappyMember1) Governors Island is alot of fun, they have a free ferry that runs every half hour on Sundays.
2) The botanical Gardens in Brooklyn and the Bronx.
3) Jewish Museum, Metropolitan museum, Museum of the City of NY, Gracie Mansion, NY Public library on 5th Avenue
4) Central Park, The High Line, South Street Seaport
5) The mansion tours in Long Island
June 5, 2012 3:58 am at 3:58 am #878513147ParticipantIf you get to the Botanical Gdns in the Bronx, bear in mind, that Wednesdays is gratis. This being said, I would suggest double checking with them, if free Wednesdays, includes July 4th?

Any kind of orchestra music as in Lincoln Center or trade shows or anything kosher. Anything permissible and potentially interesting.
Does anyone know of any other regularly sscheduled Shiur in addition to R Brog? Rebbitzen Youngreisz at Hineni is good but thats mixed seating and attracts a different crowd.
June 5, 2012 11:08 pm at 11:08 pm #878515147ParticipantI forgot to mention, that all of Rav Eliyohu Brog’s Shiurim are in English & not in Yiddish.
When Rav Shlomo Brevda IY’H recovers, he gives a Shiur in English on Sunday evenings at 8.30PM somewhere on Ocean Avenue, open to both men & women, with separate seating.

I was also going to say Lincoln Center. And I am sure the Parks and Recreation department has lists of free outdoor music events.
I guess you are safe with classical and jazz. If you get an aisle seat, then sitting arrangements should not be too much of a problem.
Enjoy!
