I have been using the same two computer monitors for several years, and I just noticed that the color is different between the two monitors.
Both are the exact same model, bought at the same time.
I went into the settings on both but I couldn’t find any differences, so I just did a factory reset on both, but they are still quite different.

I happen to be losing my mac after 8 years and am looking to buy a new laptop but can’t decide if I want another mac. Now I’m concerned about buying a computer with the wrong colors. Do you think it has an adverse effect on other aspects of your life? Perhaps the programmer on one was color blind?April 21, 2017 11:41 am at 11:41 am #1258746MenoParticipantWell I’ve been fine until today, so I can’t say it has affected my life much.
Honestly it wouldn’t be a problem at all if I only used one monitor. It’s only weird because I use both of them at the same time.

You should run for president of Dell
April 21, 2017 1:05 pm at 1:05 pm #1258773YW Moderator-29 👨💻ModeratorAre you using two at once in some sort of virtual-reality-3D type of process
April 21, 2017 1:09 pm at 1:09 pm #1258774MenoParticipantNo. I’m using two at once so I have more space.

Seriously.. there is a set of settings on the screens themselves. Then there are settings on the computer too, for each one individually. This varies between video card adapter manufacturers.
April 21, 2017 2:19 pm at 2:19 pm #1258795MenoParticipantI just realized that one of them is plugged into the VGA port and one is plugged into the HDMI port. That must be it.

One is actually greener than the other.
May 4, 2017 3:24 pm at 3:24 pm #1270018MenoParticipantOne of my co-workers just replaced his second monitor with a bigger one.
I was thinking of taking his old one and then I would have three monitors, but who knows what the color will be like on that one….
