I keep hearing conflicting stories as to whether or not it’s true. Was there really a couple in New York who just had triplet boys and named them Eyal, Gilad, and Naftali?
no. it was a hoax. why somebody would do that i have no idea. the parents of the triplets you mentioned said somebody took the picture of them off their facebook page and started a story. it is a good idea though!
As nice as I would like to imagine it’s true, there has been no actual proof from any news source. The farthest I (or any news source) has been able to trace the story is from a Facebook post which obviously is not conclusive.
Other news sources have published that they have doubts if it’s true, The Jewish Press is the only one that says “We are trying to confirm it one way or the other.” Given the timeline for this story, I don’t have high hopes of it being true.
